On this history-themed tour from Negombo, you'll discover the sights of three of Sri Lanka's ancient kingdoms. Your first stop will be at Dambadeniya to explore the ruins of the ancient city with its palace, temple, gardens and moats. You'll continue to the picturesque rock fortress of Yapahuwa and have time to climb the wide stone staircases and see the stone sculptures and the ruins of the stupa at the top.
Your final stop on the tour will be at Panduwasnuwara, where you'll see the extensive 12th-century ruins of a palace, monasteries, stupas and houses. Here, you'll also visit the museum to see many archaeological finds from excavations of the area.
