With this experience, you’ll participate in a Sri Lankan cooking class and visit two local markets. Firstly, you’ll arrive at the listed address and enjoy a welcome drink of ginger tea. You’ll then take a tuk tuk to the local Dutch market. You’ll learn more about the history of the market as you shop for fresh vegetables with your guide. You’ll then visit a fish market to buy fish. Thereafter, you’ll return to your guide’s restaurant for the cooking class. Here, you’ll learn to prepare five Sri Lankan curries. You’ll also discover how spices are made and how to make coconut milk from scratch. You can then enjoy your preparations for lunch.
