This adventurous experience will take you on a hike to explore the rain forest of Kitulgala.
The tour will begin with the pickup from your hotel in Mount Lavinia early in the morning followed by a 2.5-hour drive to Kitugala. After reaching, you will meet the guide, who will first take you to a wharf on the Kelani riverbank followed by a walk through the hidden trails. While walking, your guide will help you in identifying and spotting endemic and nocturnal birds along with other wild life animals.
You will have lunch after a canoe ride back to the rest house. The guide will also take you to the filming location of “The Bridge on the River Kwai” if you have extra time.
