On this two-part tour, you’ll get an amazing introduction to Malaysia's natural wonders. You’ll spend 1.5 hours driving through the scenic countryside, making a stop at the Nabalu Fruit Market. At Kinabalu Park – Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site – the on-site naturalist will lead you around to see some of the 5000 vascular plant species like the smallest orchid in Borneo. In the exhibition center, you’ll view slide shows of the flora and fauna, including unique types only found on Mount Kinabalu.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you’ll drive to the Poring Hot Spring. Here, you’ll have a 20-minute hike to the Canopy Walkway to experience views from the treetops, 200 ft above the ground. You’ll have the option to take a dip in the spring’s Japanese-inspired, open-air bathtub, with the steaming sulfuric waters believed to have curative powers.
