On this adventure, you'll discover the natural wonders of the New Zealand landscape as you visit Mount Tarawera, the volcano that created the world’s youngest geothermal valley when it erupted in 1886. You'll begin your expedition with a 4x4 ride through the bush, taking you to the crater's edge, followed by a guided hiking experience.
You'll explore the unique terrain, learn about the region's history and take in magnificent vistas. The tour will also include an optional extra – a thrilling run into the heart of the volcanic crater.

This tour can accommodate a maximum of 15 participants.
