On this tour, you'll fly above the Kahurangi National Park and land on Mount Owen. You'll see where the Lord of the Rings cast and crew spent ten days filming a scene in which members of the fellowship escape the mines of Moria, and observe the difficult of filming in such a harsh and remote location. You may also appreciate the unique geological features of the mountain, which is composed of some of the oldest rock in the country and presents a truly stunning vista.
