On this tour, you’ll spend the day wandering several sites around Nizwa. During the day, you’ll get a chance to see the UNESCO-recognized Aflaj irrigation systems. You’ll stop by the most visited monument in the country – the famous Nizwa Fort. Built nearly 370 years ago, you’ll have time to admire the castle before heading to the Nizwa Souq. Here you’ll find traditional pots, knives and other items for sale. There will also be a stop at Wadi Bani Habib where you’ll find the recently abandoned village of Habib and walnut orchards on top of the Jebel Akhdar mountain range.
