Upon arrival, explore Hegra (Mada'in Salih), Saudi Arabia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient city, dating back to the Nabataean Kingdom between the 1st century BCE and 1st century CE, features over 110 well-preserved tombs carved into sandstone formations, showcasing the architectural prowess of the Nabataeans. After a guided tour revealing the secrets of these tombs and ancient inscriptions, enjoy lunch in the city. Post-lunch, visit Jabal Al-Fil (Elephant Rock), a natural sandstone formation standing 52 meters tall, sculpted by wind and water erosion over millions of years into the shape of an elephant. Relax and take in the serene desert landscape before returning to Medina for hotel drop-off.
