On this tour, you’ll have the chance to explore two of Thailand's most iconic attractions and learn about the local way of life. You’ll start the day with a guided visit to a coconut farm, where you can discover how locals make sugar. Then, you'll board a long-tailed speedboat headed to Damnoen Saduak and its famous Floating Market.
One of the country's most popular landmarks, the floating market consists of a network of canals packed with wooden boats where local goods like fruit and vegetables are on sale. You’ll have lunch in Kanchanaburi, on your way to the famous bridge on the River Kwai.
Your guide will explain the history of the bridge’s construction as well as the WWII events that cost the lives of over 6,000 prisoners now resting in the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Your final stop before returning to Bangkok will be at JEATH War Museum, centred around the so-called Death Railway and the lives of the Japanese soldiers and foreign prisoners that contributed to its building.
