On this tour departing from Austin, you'll get to experience the Texas Hill Country. You'll learn about the cowboys and cattle drives of South Texas as you explore the scenic backroads and you'll hear stories about the German migration of the 1840s and 1850s. You'll also visit the LBJ Ranch at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park before making your way to Fredericksburg, where you'll visit the Nimitz Museum and the National Museum of the Pacific War. You'll then have free time to eat lunch at an authentic German beer garden, do a wine tasting or shop for western art, antiques and furniture. You'll also have the chance to visit Luckenbach, a small-town close to Fredericksburg known for its German-Texas heritage.
