On this tour, you'll explore some of the volcanoes on Hawaii's Big Island as you hike with a professional guide. As you travel between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, two of the biggest volcanoes on earth, your guide will talk to you about volcanology, geology and the history of these volcanoes.
After this, you'll visit the Kaumana Caves to see the lava tube system before going to the Mackenzie State Recreation Area, where you'll follow the lava flow from the 2018 eruption through the forest and to a new black-sand beach.
At Isaac Hale Beach Park, you'll be able to watch steam rising from cooling lava and have a picnic lunch before going to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a bird's-eye view of the Kilauea Caldera and the Halema’uma’u Crater.
