Oliver and Clarisse are such a nice people, they will make your stay amazing. It's a hidden gem in Komba, true paradise, where you can escape from work and enjoy the moment. They prepare such a good food,if there is anything broken in a room, they will repair it and make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really enjoyed each second there and we will return.

It is only reachable by boat, but surprisingly the cell phone coverage was excellent!

Our family of five stayed with Johan and Elodie for seven nights in March. The snorkeling just off the beack is good. It varies with tide and turbdity so aim for low tide and really sunny weather and then everything turns on. We loved the experience and spent our days snorkeling and eating delicious seafood. We took four excursion boat trips: 1.) Nosy Tanikely National Park-great visibility and beautiful corals; 2.) Makako Lemur sanctuary on Nosy Komba in Ampangorinana and nearby tiny island of Nosy Ambariobe for snorkeling; 3.) Nosy sakatia for swimming with really large green sea turtles; and 4.) across from Nosy Komba to hidden beach for more snorkeling on Madagascar main island directly across from Remo e Bernice. All the trips were awesome but the swimming with the really big green sea turtles in Sakatia was a highlight. The caring attention to our needs from Johan and Elodie was also a highlight. We hiked up the Nosy Komba mountain half way but it rained super hard so we just enjoyed the verdant gardens in the forest of spices and chameleons. It was all amazing.

Tino was extremely flexible with our itinerary, kept us safe and made our time on Nosy Be an experience of a lifetime. They upgraded our room to ocean front which came with a kitchen and living room. The shower was hot and powerful. The pool was clean and well maintained. We ate dinner and breakfast here. The prices were a little high for Madagascar but considering its remote location and the excellent quality of the food it was worth it. I will certainly stay again when I return.

The owners of the property Jean Michel & Pearl gave us a very warm welcome & could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. They are very hands on & there to help in any way. We stayed in the two bedroom ground floor apartment of the villa with a very large comfortable bed & good bathroom. The position is amazing, right in a pristine white beach with beautiful turquoise sea. It’s the kind of beach where you can walk for miles without seeing another person & barely any rubbish. You certainly don’t get any hassle here from people pushing you to buy. We had a nice walk in their forest with the owners & a couple of guides. They are hoping to add a cabin where visitors can experience sleeping in the forest. This is a small unique guest house in a rural beautiful part of Madagascar well worth the effort to get there. Water needs to be used sparingly as each Jerry can full has to be hand delivered. It makes you think about every drop you use!!

The hosts, Philip and Patrick, are the most wonderful and hospitable people in the world, I am endless grateful to them for the warm welcome and sensitive attitude to us after our long and hard road. For those traveling by car the house is ideal - there is parking place in the front yard while the back yard overlooks the ocean. 10 minutes by car in the city center there are supermarkets and a currency exchange office. I am delighted with the design and atmosphere of the house - it is a cozy, safe place that is pleasant to be in and where you want to return. It was the first time I felt so comfortable during my entire three-week trip around the island, largely thanks to the hosts. The space inside the house is perfectly organized, the kitchen has everything you need - simple but beautiful dishes, a coffee maker and wine glasses. In the lobby you can look through amazing interesting books. What I loved the most was drinking coffee in the morning at the open veranda, which goes to the inner green garden and further, through the leaves, is seen the ocean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beauty and relaxation.
