We loved our big room, comfy bed, terrace with views overlooking the water. Sally and Mike are great and there to help with everything. They even let us borrow their kayak one day. The breakfast was amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Carlo and his wife are friendly and attentive hosts. The rooms matched the photos. The wifi worked well. You can cook or have food delivered to the outdoor dining area. The hotel is about 700 meters from Pipa Beach, which is one of the few beaches on Isla Colon that is good for swimming because it has sand and no waves. My wife needed a taxi to go to Pipa Beach because the roads are under construction and covered with big stones. The hotel is a short taxi ride to Bocas Town for restaurants and boat excursions.

The nature and views are incredible, perfect for relaxation. Else and her team were incredibly attentive and took great care of us – the home-cooked food was one of the highlights of our experience. 10/10 would recommend and hope we'll be able to come back in the future!

She welcomed us with open arms (literally) and made our stay feel like it was home. The place was in a perfect location, a minute water taxi ride to town and there were some great restaurants all within a few mins walking distance from Riva. The room and common areas were all spotlessly clean and tidy and we slept like a baby with the sound of the water underneath the house. Breakfast was hearty with homemade bread and jam, fruit salad, and your choice of eggs (great omelette!). I would recommend booking this place 100%.

Hostal Hansi is in Bocas del Toro, 17 minutes' walk from El Istmito Beach. It is 50 meters from the docks. All rooms are private, some have a terrace, TV, air conditioning and hot water. Great place and location, good kitchen and the host is extremely friendly! I forgot my weddingring, and she even made sure that I got it back in Costa Rica! 100% recommend
