A complete new flat with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with a wonderful view. Located on about 700m above sea-level. it`s not so hot and the humidity is not so heavy like in the coastal area. The host is always here to help and answer questions - in live or by messenger :-) Supermarkets are not nearby, so better go shopping before you go there!

I arrived Sainte-Rose on a Christmas evening when everything was closed. Hungry and tired after hours of driving, I asked if the host was able to provide me some simple bread as dinner with my mere few words of French. They were so friendly and concerned, and after 15 mins, they showed up in my room again with a full spread of toast with foie gras, made a few cheese tarts, fruit and shared some fizzy drinks with me - most heartwarming Christmas dinner ever! They did all they can to make sure I feel comfortable though we speak different language. They even woke up early and showed me the beautiful sunrise at their garden at 6am when I said I am a photographer and I love sunrise. The location is very convenient too if you are visiting the Lava Church nearby. The guest room (2 bedrooms, large kitchen, living room and cosy bathroom) is very spacious and homey, accompanied with a beautiful courtyard and garden.
