I have visited Bellac for years and this is the first guest house that meets my needs - safe, full of character, decent Wifi, cleaned with ecological products, comfy bed, and an approchable owner. Oh - and next door to my favourite bakery/diner!

We loved our stay here, Catherine is an excellent host, our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious with yoghurt, fruit and fresh bread.

The Laurels We stayed here one night February 27, but after that night wish it could have been for a longer stay. Paul and Peggy are the best hosts you could hope for. As I booked this stay in May 2022 for the February 2023 stay and in between my booking and the stay the open times of the house have changed they were nice enough to honor the dates of our stay. From the moment of arrival they could not do enough for us. Starting with the complimentary drink and you must book the dinner. It is an excellent meal handcrafted by Peggy from fresh. The room was warm, spacious and comfy. The bathroom was a wee bit tight but it is more than adequate. The house is a little off the beaten path but makes for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere near Limoges. You shant be disappointed.

Fabulous room in an old farmhouse - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated and furnished to create a magical blend of old and new. We were travelling through so could only stay the one night but we would have loved to stay longer - if we're ever back in this region we would definitely stay again. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was great!

Big family rooms with decent sized en suite with fabulous shower, with lovely original features, easy to hook up own Netflix account for kids to watch later , continental breakfast in garden was lovely x

Everything was great! Tony and Lisa are so nice and funny. The food was just delicious, bedrooms really nice and super clean. The premises are just fantastic for kids. Tony shared his passion for falconery with us and it was just a real nice surprise, kids and parents really enjoyed! Our very short stay was therefore wonderful and for sure we'll come back if we are again in the area!
