Beautiful and well-maintained B&B. Everything was in perfect shape, beautifully decorated, super comfortable and cosy. Walking distance to Windsor Castle & downtown. Hosts were very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a lovely experience. Private parking for 1 or 2 cars in back for 10GBP per night. This is one of the best B&Bs I've had the pleasure of staying in. You will not be disappointed.

Staff and facility were all amazing. The value for our pound was exceptional. Our room was spacious and cozy at the same time. Bathroom was fully updated and small of course but comfy and so much better than a lot of the ones we witnessed in London. We loved the location. Easy to get everywhere in Windsor. This family of three would stay again and highly recommend the Windsor Trooper. And that’s not even to mention the pub atmosphere and the Italian food nights and the wonderful gentleman selling coffee and pastries in the morning. This is a neighborhood staple and a must visit.

Perfect location! I needed to be at Windsor racecourse for a walking event, and it was within easy walking distance (a really pretty walk, too!) The pub is lovely, the building really old & full of character. The floorboards creak, but I like that! My room was spacious, with a roomy bathroom...easily operated shower (always a plus!). Tea, coffee & bottled water provided. Nice firm bed, I slept really well, both nights ☺️ Breakfast is at additional cost, but it's not expensive, and the quality is superb! I have nothing bad to say about the George!

Staff was incredibly friendly! Wish I could remember everyone’s names! Managers - great! Gave us a history of the place. Server - Max (??) was very friendly! Morning breakfast staff were wonderful! If we ever visit the UK again we hope to return to the Winning Post! It far exceeded our expectations!! 😊
