24/7 access to tea, coffee and water, microwave and fridge were a huge plus! Not only was she super fast in responding to our messages online, upon arrival, Jane gave us possibly the clearest rundown of the park we could ask for, which prepared us even better than all those weeks of online research. She also prepared to-go bags for our early trips out to the park (5:30am), and made us a delicious hot frittatta on our last day. The house is in-between the East and South entrance gates, which makes it a great starting point to visit both areas. We also saw plenty of wildlife around the house including grey squirrels, hummingbirds, Deer and all sorts of birds! It's also close to both Mariposa and Oakhurst, both towns we were able to visit in the evenings for groceries and dinner after Yosemite. We truly enjoyed our stay here and appreciate all the help from Jane & Richard before & during our trip!

We loved our stay. Very clean and very friendly staff. We were spoiled!! If I have to be critical there were minor things that the could use a little tlc. such as the water heater taking a while to heat up. but otherwise we were beyond happy!!

We had a great time at this retreat. It’s close to Yosemite so that was great. Our host were friendly, greeted us and showed us around the property. It’s a beautiful place that overlooks the valley. It was well stocked and very comfortable and clean.

The apartment is very clean and spacious. We could enjoy the sunset every evening in the quiet, beautiful garden. The kind hostess recommended some nice trails in Yosemite and even provided an air horn to scare away bears. We enjoyed our stay in this retreat and the hiking in Yosemite.
