Die Unterkunft Ballena Rey Hotel, die in Uvita, 13 km von Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz,... Exceptionally good value-for-money. Small (about 14 rooms), modern, hotel in a good location for visiting various places e.g. Catarata Uvita, Nauyaca Waterfalls, Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, Hacienda Baru Wildlife Refuge. Many evening dining out options in the local vicinity, although the hotel owner told us there are plans to offer an evening meal option at Ballena Rey very soon. We had room 12: good balcony space, with 2 armchairs, small table top and 2 stalls, cacti at each end of the balcony, ceiling fan; the open plan kitchen and living room area was spacious, with air-conditioning and ceiling fan, 2 armchairs, TV, table and 2 chairs and sufficiently equipped kitchen (though 2 rings for cooking would be preferable to the one ring provided) and good-sized fridge/freezer; spacious shower room with hot water (some of the places we stayed at during our 31 night trip didn't have hot water); bedroom - reasonably comfortable bed, hanging and shelf storage space, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, one bedside table. Very good buffet breakfast - the breakfast ladies did a great job and it was lovely to be able to choose what you wanted, how much you wanted, in what order etc. Very good cleaning service provided in the room and in the hotel grounds. Lovely pool, which we made good use of. And the staff were all very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay at Ballena Rey and were sorry to leave.

Great included night walk to see the frogs. Big and convenient apartment. Nice pool. Super friendly staff that even prepared a very tasty breakfast for us at 5am.

Special thanks to Justin for being especially helpful and friendly during my stay, and also to Winston and the rest of the team, you’re all amazing! I also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, it was a great way to start the day and I loved experiencing a typical Costa Rican breakfast 😊 Thank you for the great hospitality. Die Unterkunft Casa Yorba mit einem Außenpool ist gelegen in Jacó, 5,4 km von Themenpark Rainforest Adventures Jaco und 25 km von Wasserfall Bijagual sowie 26 km von Gartenanlage und Wasserfälle Pura... The location was perfect, convenience stores, restaurants and the beach from a walking distance. Very clean and with all commodities.

Die Unterkunft Siquirres Mountain Lodge mit Bergblick in Siquirres bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem Garten, einer Terrasse und einer Bar. Set in beautiful forest gardens, a lovely chalet, very spacious bedroom and large bathroom. The accommodation was very comfortable and peaceful at night, we slept very well. There are plenty of birds to see. The hosts are welcoming and very friendly.

Die Unterkunft Yarumo Lodge, Río Celeste Black Chalets ist in Bijagua de Upala gelegen, 16 km von Wasserfall Rio Celeste und 48 km von Vulkan Miravalles entfernt. Our chalet was located in the middle of the jungle. Lot of birds around, which we love. The location was close enough to town, but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Die in Monteverde gelegene Unterkunft Mi Casa Su Casa Monteverde ist 2,8 km von Sky Adventures Monteverde Park und 5 km von Abenteuerpark Selvatura entfernt. We can really recommend Mi Casa Su Casa! Perfect location within 10 min walk to Santa Elena with restaurants and bars and close to the beautiful rain forests. The owners Sergio and Katia are indeed service minded and invested a lot of their time to recommend to us the most beautiful rain forests and parks but also restaurants close by. Sergio used to work as a travel guide and is very knowledgeable . The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious with a nice view. We booked rooms with a private bathroom. If we travel to Monteverde again we will definitely stay at Mi Casa Su Casa:-)
