Light of Zanzibar Hotel is located just a 2-5 minutes walk from the stunning Nungwi Beach (depending if you go through the town or straight to the beach). It has everything you might need, comfortable beds, hot water, mosquito nets and AC. There is a fridge outside your room which you share with the two other rooms on your floor to keep your water nice and cold. Paul and all the other staff are absolutely wonderful, kind and very helpful, just ask if you need anything, they will definitely do all they can to help you out. The served breakfast is always delicious, it varies a little every day so you never eat the same thing. Once we had to take our breakfast an hour early and everyone was so nice that we left with satisfied stomachs. If were ever back to Zanzibar, we’ll stay here again!

Hands down one of the best hosts I've interacted with. His staff Neema, Winnie, and John were lovely too! You can tell they all like what they do and work well together. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to tell Peter or his staff and they'll be sure to address it! The rooms are clean and well decorated. I appreciated the large & comfortable bed and high pressure hot shower. Some of the rooms are fairly new and Peter was quite receptive to feedback on how to continue meeting guests' needs. The breakfast was delicious. Karibu Africa Home is within walking distance to some good restaurants and a short boda-boda or tuk tuk ride to town. They organize activities for guests which was quite convenient for me. I did the waterfall & coffee and hot spring tours and thoroughly enjoyed them all... Moshi is beautiful!

Top to bottom excellent quality in service, food, staff, rooms are beautiful and spacious and clean, pool and gardens are really spectacular and restaurant is probably the best in Arusha with unbelievable views of Mount Meru, this property is head and shoulders above the rest in Arusha and well worth the splurge to start or finish your adventure in Tanzania.
