The location is convenient as it is attached to Aomori train station (which was very helpful as I did not get wet in the rain/snow!), with nearby department store, shops and restaurants. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, aesthetically it was beautiful, spacious and a delightful place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help me (including via a translator app when needed). The breakfast was amazing, one of my favourite I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel amenities such as the onsen and the lounge with free evening beverages were a treat. If you get a chance to book dinner (need 24 hours notice) it will not disappoint!

Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring está em Aomori a 6 km de Sitio Arqueológico Sannai-Maruyama e a 43 km de Tsuta Hot Spring. Extremely splendid experience. We did not expect much other than having a clean room per person and a big-and-comfortable public bath (Daiyokujo). On top of that we get free evening soba noodles, free drinks (unlimited apple juice) and free ice after baths, and free massage chair service. The whole place is also beautifully decorated. Not to mention that the room price is extremely low, that the place is at the city center, and close to the train station.

The owner 'Mayoko' san is very kind. She give some free drink and coffee every time for her own guest, and 1000 yen dinner also delicious!. Room is also very clean and wide. Wifi also strong. And I saw samisen play during staying time. Mayoko San is expert of playing samisen, which is old japan music tool. If you want relax in Japan's rural place, I highly recommend this place.

Tabinoyado Saikawa conta com acomodação com Wi-Fi grátis e estacionamento privativo grátis em Kuroishi. Lago Towada fica a 33 km de distância. Amazing ryokan experience in a winter wonderland! Ranko-san was an amazing host who cared for our every needs. She even lent as snow boots for our winter hikes when she saw that our shoes was unsuitable for the snow. She was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The onsen was big and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner was better than any restaurant we could find in hirosaki! Will definitely be back again :)

Em Hirosaki, Guest House Chara fornece acomodação com jardim e Wi-Fi grátis em toda a propriedade, além de estacionamento privativo grátis para quem decidir vir de carro. We stayed for just one night but we felt very welcome and we wanted to stay longer. Even if the location wasn’t so central we were kindly picked up and dropped off at the train station. They even helped us having an early breakfast to catch our early train. As vegetarians we put the hosts in a bit of a pickle, but they gave us a delicious breakfast nonetheless ;) We definitely would like to come back 😄

Close drive to Hirosaki Castle. They were very hospitable and kind despite our Japanese not being the that good. They served us a very unique dinner course that included duck and BEAR! It was super tasty very worth the value! We talked about anime and music up until midnight it was very enjoyable experience.

Konakano Station fica a 15 km de distância. 12/10 absolutely incredible stay!! Very VERY kind and helpful hosts that offered me pickup/dropoff rides, a ride to the supermarket, and even a goodie bag on my way out. This made for the perfect penultimate day to my MCT thru-hike, could not have wished for anything better. Fully equipped kitchen, nice shower, bathtub, common room with TV and netflix, sheesh. Thank you!!!!

HOTEL EVERMORE -Adult Only- está em Hirosaki a 34 km de Tsugaru City Jomon Residence Museum Karuko e a 42 km de Sukayu Onsen. Simply the best value hotel under $150 I've ever experienced in Japan. Very spacious suite for $135 came with complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Included great breakfast options. This hotel advertised itself as an adult hotel, on booking sites like Booking.com. Under the law it's classed as a 'love hotel' but don't let that put you off. Our suite gave no clue except for one locked vendor in a cupboard. Fantastic concept with great friendly and helpful staff. Whoever came up with this concept should be congratulated.
