Dieses Fidschi-Resort ist ein preisgekrönter Rückzugsort auf einer Privatinsel, die von weißen Sandstränden, Korallenriffen und kristallklarem Wasser umgeben ist. South beach beach bure was right next to the ocean and we could watch the sunrise and sunsets from our room, snorkeling was right off each beach, staff is so friendly and welcoming (especially since my mom arrived feeling ill from motion sickness), kids club activities were awesome

The hospitality is out of this world, the staff address you as if you are part of their family, the place is quiet and relaxing, the eco-part of the resort really lives up to its values, and finally the diving has been one of the best spots we’ve ever experienced in the world.

I liked...no, I loved every minute of my stay at Maqai. It is as close to paradise as I'll allow my pragmatic mind to entertain. From the relative remoteness to the natural beauty, the super-relaxed atmosphere to the genuine warmth of the staff, this is a very special place. More of a traveller vibe than that of the well-worn tourist path of the islands closer to Nadi. Slightly rustic? Sure, but only in the best possible way. Cathy (manager) ran as tight a ship as possible on a tropical island in the Pacific. She was welcoming and prompt with her email replies to my questions regarding all the various water sports and cultural experiences on the island. In no particular order, the following staff members quickly began to feel like old friends...Navo, Etta, Sala, Emosi, Soni, Tui, Junior, Jale, Johnny, Mama's Soke & Luce, Netta and Suki (four legged and furry). They all exude such an authentically friendly yet service oriented approach to their individual roles. I can't speak highly enough of how they looked after me. It is up to you how much or how little activity you schedule into your day on Qamea. Highlights included surf trips to the outer reefs, snorkelling and lunch on the Island Tour, the Sunday morning village visits and church service, and the food. Crikey, the food. I had to ask for slightly less portions by dinner time, or I would have no room left for evening kava with the locals! If you're reading this review and considering/comparing it with other options in Fiji, fair enough, but I honestly feel it is a rare and rich experience worth every cent and the added travel time to get there. Das Tambua Sands Beach Resort begrüßt Sie am Strand der Korallenküste von Fidschi. Freuen Sie sich auf einen Süßwasseraußenpool und ein Restaurant. Absolutely beautiful property, even the garden bungalows are on the water, facing the water. Very clean, staff are amazing! Hotel entertainment is really good ( activity board ). If you don’t want to go out at other restaurants to eat, their lunch and diner menu’s are fantastic. The snorkelling was really good at low tide, can see the sunset in the distance.
