Die Unterkunft Alofa Beach Bungalows mit Meerblick in Insel Tanna bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich, einer Terrasse, einem Restaurant und einer Bar. We enjoyed the location (going to the beach, watching local’s life, visiting the school next door). But the best were John and Veronique that were super friendly. They also helped us arrange transportation to the volcano. The food options are limited but always great! Veronique really makes it look great too. The breakfast was plenty and yummy. And we enjoyed the bonfire at night.

Mangoes Resort and Restaurant in Port Vila offers 29 beautifully appointed boutique bungalows. The restaurant on site is absolutely amazing - one of the best places I ate on the island - I actually came back after check out to eat again, Until I left I also didn't realise how fairly priced it was. There is a lovely relaxed vibe and really lovely views from the lagoon view rooms. Its very quiet and you can hear nature and theres lots of little birds that come around the property. There was a lot of rain in the evenings but the sound was really nice. The staff looked after my bags and gave me lots of advice. All of the staff made me feel very welcome and compared to other resorts I stayed at they were among the most friendly, kind, knowledgable and helpful Each room has its own wifi router (so as long as the island has internet you have internet)

Charlie is a very good host , knows everyone on the island and can arrange , tours , flights to accomodate any of your needs . He and his family were so hospitable , it was the highlight of my stay on Tanna to stay with them , they have a beautiful beach just 10min walk which the village children love to play in , the water is crystal clear . I love the hut it’s a tradition style and the food was beautiful , organic and fresh which his wife makes over traditional wood fire . I highly recommend staying with Charlie and using his tours . Not to forget Tom his driver who knows his stuff when it comes to four wheel driving through the volcanic ash plains and rivers to get to the top of the volcano . ( Charlie is a math teacher at the village school , supplies are limited on the island so recommend brining some stationary , pens , crayons , books ect )
