Rooms are superb, well equipped, spacious, and the view, again, from the bed, is incredible. Breakfast was also fantastic ! In the main house, still with the view.

A perfect spot, in a quieter area, for a few days on the island. You get a gorgeous view. Make sure to get up for sunrise. The hosts are amazing and friendly. The beds are huge and super comfy. I could only get warm-ish water, but it was fine for me after hiking all day. The breakfast was delicious! Amazing bread, freshly squeezed juice and eggs. The dinner was also delicious, get the trout, you will not be disappointed. The wifi is really good. Definitely recommend. Would absolutely come back again.

Mega Lage auf einem Hügel inmitten der schönsten Natur. Panoramaausblick und freundliche Tiere inbegriffen :). Das Vierbettzimmer ist schlicht und klein, aber sehr gemütlich - wir haben bestens geschlafen. Der Außenbereich ist fantastisch, mit Hängenatte, Grill (den haben wir aber nicht genutzt), vielen schönen Ecken zum Sitzen, Essen, Spielen, Entspannen. Das Frühstück, das man hinzubuchen kann ist wirklich gut und reichhaltig und wird mit viel Liebe zum Detail frisch zubereitet. Überhaupt sind Diego und Alina extrem tolle Gastgeber und helfen mit alle Fragen weiter und rufen ein Taxi, wenn man es braucht. Fußläufig kann man Samaipata in etwa 10 - 15 Minuten erreichen. Das ist auch abends im Dunkeln kein Problem, da es eine sichere Gegend ist. Wir können das Colina Verde wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir waren für 2 Nächte dort die einzigen Gäste, erst am zweiten Tag kamen neue Gäste an. Die Umgebung ist herausragend, tolles Klima! Leider waren die Wasserfälle geschlossen, aber das Refugio Zoológico hatte geöffnet :). Unbedingt eine Tour zu El Fuerte machen! Ist nicht so überlaufen wie Tiwuanaku oder Cusco/Machu Pichu, aber mindestens genauso interessant und auch in einer wunderschönen Bergwelt gelegen.

We absolutely loved staying here. The lodge is owned and operated by a local family. They have built a great lodge that is really well taken care of. The view of the lake from the rooms and the property is absolutely stunning. We found time everyday at the property to just sit on the outside chairs to take in the view, read a bit and watch the people go by with their donkeys and produce from their land. The family (Oscar, Sonia, Lis) were super friendly and helpful. They did a great job with breakfast. We loved that they also offered dinner which Sonia, the mother, makes herself. After taking long hikes around the island, we didn't have the energy to go out for dinner. The guestroom is very well done and super well taken care of and clean. We stayed in a family room with a lake view which was very large. The shower had reasonable pressure and hot water. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of blankets and an electric heater for the chilly nights. It is a very steep climb from the boat drop off point to the various lodges. The Utasawa lodge offers donkey service for getting your luggage up the mountain. I strongly suggest you take advantage of it. We thought it was a bargain, particularly after watching everyone with luggage struggling big time to make it up the mountain to the various lodges and hostals. We were sad to leave after three nights. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely recommend to any of our friends if visiting the island.

If you want what is arguably the best view on Isla del Sol right from your hotel room then look no further 🤩 – the room was also nice and warm, with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!
