Die Unterkunft Starlight Mountain Lodge bietet ein Fitnesscenter, einen Garten, eine Terrasse und eine Bar in Sigchos. Sehr gastfreundlich und auch für vegetarische/vegane Ernährung alles dabei. Essen war sehr reichlich jeweils zum Abend und Frühstück. Vor allem der frische Saft war ein Gaumenschmauß. Das Hostel liegt schon auf perfektem Wege nach Chucchilán, es kann morgens direkt losgehen. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen.

Die in Mindo gelegene Unterkunft El Descanso bietet kostenloses WLAN, einen Garten mit einer Terrasse sowie Gartenblick. I loved this hotel so much that I extended my stay for an extra night. The owners are incredibly accommodating, and have clearly poured a loooot of love into making a home away from home for their guests. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The beds are super comfortable. The towels and silk (!) sheets are changed daily. The showers are hot as hell and have fancy, free soap. The common areas and kitchen are really well equipped, and the balcony/eating area that overlooks the garden is really lush. I saw seven species of hummingbirds and about ten other bird species, plus agoutis, while sitting and eating my brekky there.

You cannot beat that view. Nicer facilities than pictured--clean and despite the traditional building design, it felt modern. Breakfast was traditional and delicious, meals were great, the woodstove kept the room incredibly cozy, sitting area was amazing, bedding and towels were good quality for a National park hotel, just loved it. The small children's playground was an excellent bonus that kept the little ones happy while the adults enjoyed the view. Staff was kind and helpful when another guest had a rude outburst (and broke a door slamming it) because a toddler in our party was crying at 4pm in the afternoon. They quickly and quietly moved him to another building, and the rest of the stay was without incident. We packed flashlights and camping lanterns expecting blackouts given the current power situation in Ecuador. I don't think we lost power when there for more than a little bit as the facility uses its own generator, but I'd recommend packing them for walking safely at night to see the incredible view of the stars. I wish we'd stayed longer than one night.

The hacienda is a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. The breakfasts and dinners were awesome. Sebadtian and Victor are wonderful cooks and do whatever you need to feel comfortable. Since it is a working dairy farm feeding the baby cows was fun.

Beautiful location surrounded by lush vegetation with birds and flowers everywhere. Our room had a private porch and was quiet and comfortable.

I’m an animal lover, so I love the fact that, Cuello de Luna has variety of domesticated animals. Installations are amazing, if you want to unwind and relax for a few days. The best place for yoga.

Everything was excellent. They also coordinated a ride from the airport. This is a high altitude location,, remember warm clothes.

Das Las Terrazas de Dana, das von seinem Eigentümer betrieben wird, bietet ein Restaurant und liegt 1,2 km von Mindo entfernt. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we stayed 6 nights. Everything about the property makes it perfect for any traveller. Accommodation, food and the beautiful gardens, makes this hotel 2nd to none in Mindo. However, the thing that made this property a stand out for us, was the staff. The owner is gracious and helpful and his staff follow his lead. A big shout out to Marco who went above and beyond, and to the whole team who just couldn’t do enough for us. Safe to say we will return and highly recommend this little slice of heaven to all.
