Wow. This is one of, if not, the BEST homestays I’ve ever stayed in on my travels. The private bungalows were spacious, clean, hot water, a good mosquito net and an added bonus of having a kettle in the room. This being said, the thing that really made my stay was the owner and his family. He was so kind and helped with anything I needed without being too pushy or forcing anything upon me. He truly wants the best for his guests and, as a new business, is learning every day! Sharing family dinner every night, his wife’s amazing cooking with huge portions and his incredibly cute and cheerful daughter - thank you so much for leaving a great impression of Cambodia on my last few days here♥️😊

Phum Khmer Lodge is the perfect place to stay in Siem Reap. A peaceful oasis! The best part of Phum Khmer Lodge is the staff. All of them. It feels like being welcomed into a family of such kind and lovely people. Everyone works so hard to make you feel at home and they are all outstanding at their jobs. Thank you Mr Sona for being an excellent host, and to every one of the staff for being so kind and generous and thoughtful, and making it a relaxing and friendly stay! The historic wooden villas are beautiful, each set apart within the lush gardens, which gives you seclusion and privacy, and yet only five minutes by tuktuk from the centre of town. The lodge i stayed in was so spacious and well appointed that I wished it was my own home! The beds are very comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. Excellent air conditioning and a large pristine bathroom. The wide shady verandah/terrace is an extravagant place to sit and relax late into the evening. The restaurant is excellent, and you can have your food brought to your terrace for quiet meals. The swimming pool is wonderful and refreshing, with plenty of shade and space.

Our stay was wonderful! the staff was super sweet and the bungalows in the middle of the forest were cozy. the food is really good so having breakfast there is a no brainer. sadly our stay was cut short due to the heavy rain which gets a bit extra annoying in the jungle but would recommend sweet jungle to anyone.
