Darren was a fantastic host- very attentive and had great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. By talking to him we gained good insight into life in Don Det. We enjoyed a spacious, clean room with a big bed, beautiful views of sunset over the river, hammocks, a fridge and a good shower. Darren also offered pick up from the ferry, and he met us there with our luggage when we were leaving.

The bed is big and cozy. The room is spacious. And the views!!!! Wow! I’ll never forget it. I love that they don’t serve water in plastic. The restaurant is perfectly situated for the sunset and the food is tasty. They made me an early breakfast to take back on the boat. I just can’t say enough about this place. Oh, and also it’s in a good location so you can walk into town, such as it is. I hear there are good bars there. Not my thing.

I loved staying here!!!!

Within a short walk, you can get to another waterfall from the lodge. The room and bathroom were very spacious with a lot of shelves. The staff were all very polite and nice.
