Staff and management is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was fully booked but you never had the feeling that it was crowded. Spacious rooms and lovely to have full sea view. Diving center is a big plus. Good selection of restaurants with great food. Overall very happy!

A brand new, very spacious with a lot of light. We came a family of 4, it was more than enough space for us. Very clean, with all the necessary amenities. With a spacious terrace too. Very close to the pool and the beach. Nothing to say, it was just wow!

+ We got complimentary late check out, but mood was spoiled.
+ Room is pretty clean and neat
- but dark inside ,AC is pretty strong and cold.
+ All stuff on the territory is friendly and supportive.
+ Sea food grill restaurant has nice sea view and comfortable seats. Selection of food is not big . I don’t know why it’s called sea food, you can find there mix of all cuisines but not really sea food.
In the evening (7-10 pm) there is Live music , except of this there is no entertainment.
Breakfast was ok .
Italian restaurant i liked the most
The beach is good
After 10 pm is quiet , nobody will disturb you

Snorkelling around Snoopy Island (once the thick algae cleared) was sensational. So many turtles and also a group of black tip reef sharks along with all the usual traffic (Parrot fish, Trigger fish, clown fish, puffer fish etc.). Would love to come here more often (and stay at Sandy Beach Hotel!).

This area does not have walking areas and is more suitable only for relaxing inside the hotel. But a remarkable and distinctive feature of this area is its long promenade of several kilometers, which is suitable for long walks along the sea along the sand. Al Aqah is a small town, and worth traveling by road from the big cities. The drive through the desert and then through the mountains (literally at some spots - through the new tunnels) is enjoyable and not tiring at all. The city itself is small, however with all basic emergency services for visitors to feel secure. Hearing crows in the morning was a wonderful surprise. Haven't met a lot of crows in uae.

Overall stay was excellent.Rooms were very good and spacious, All staff were excellent. Need to improve on quality of alcoholic drinks.. whiskey, vodka and beer were of very low quality. Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Should have added some more vegetarian dishes. We also had dinner buffet at the Nama restaurant and loved the food and service. The best part is the kids club where loads of toys and activities can be found. There’s also daily activities across the resort e.g. movie night, yoga class, walking groups and many more. I have stayed in almost all the hotels and resorts in Dibba area and InterContinental is by far the best one. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.
