Along the aquamarine waters of the Persian Gulf lies the remarkable waterfront of Corniche, which offers a walkway along its entire 6 km. From here the modern Arabian skyline can be taken in and by night the scene is illuminated, creating an even more glorious spectacle.
However, shopping is really where it’s at in Abu Dhabi. Malls such as the Marina, Abu Dhabi and Al Wahda Malls provide a multitude of goods, endless boutique options and plentiful food halls. The city has a very open feel to it and is very walkable, with convenient public transport options available. It is ideal for anyone that wants to spend their time exploring the city. Louvre Abu Dhabi should be at the top of any list, alongside places such as Qasr Al Watan and Qasr Al Hosn. My review is going to be different because I used to live in Abu Dhabi for 4.5 years. But if you are interested in visiting the UAE, I totally recommend allocating some time for Abu Dhabi.
