The room and the overall checkin and checkout experience...
The room and the overall checkin and checkout experience were great.
The breakfast in my opinion must be looked into and improved.
Here are some key points you can improve:
- Choice of food: You should propose more choices like Hummus, moutabal, labneh, salmon, different kind of ham (turkey, veal, chicken, beef, dried, etc.)
- The scrumbled eggs were dry, scrumbled eggs must be creamy
- More choice of fruits (we had a only small plate of fruit cuts)
- Labelling : if it is Milk label it milk, if it is almond milk label it almond milk. My son served himself with almond milk thinking it was milk according to the label and spit it because he was surprised by the taste. Good thing he is not alergic.
The breakfast buffet and service gave us the impression of not being at the same level of the rest of the hotel.
Breakfast service :
We waited too long to have someone to come seat us
We waited too long to have someone come and take the hot drinks order.
The hot drinks self service machine was down
The waiters come to our table and do not remove the used plates.
Regarding the room:
The AC in the master bedroom was blocked and too much cooling, plus there was odor in the room. We did not call, because we wanted some intimity. Please make sure the rooms are in pristine condition for the guests before checkin. it is very frustrating to have to interrupt our time in the room to call maintenance to work on the room.
In Room Dining:
The food was good, but delivered without bread (an arabic mezze without bread...) and the delivered bread was not up to the expectations.
The food was also delivered withiut tissue. There was no tissue in the room. We asked for but never had them.
Overall you should be proactive to avoid customer frustration. So the service matches the Venue.
Pristine room befoee checkin, Pristine service don't wait for the (bad) comment to act upon it.

The only drawback of the place is the lengthy (140 km) first part of the trip from Abu Dhabi to Liwa. But once you are there, the last 50 kms are a delight for your eyes.
Then: very relax and friendly welcome, very competent reception and treatment, interesting and well run activities. What more do you need ?
This is not a hotel, but a place to have the best experience of the desert and traditional culture. Tent was well equipped and very clean. Bed and pillows extra comfortable, we had the best night sleep surrounded by silence. The sunrise when leaving the tent was breathtaking. Food was local and delicious. Staff helpful and generous . Don’t miss the dune bashing! An experience you will never forget. Our stay at Liwanights was magical! Thank you Liwanights family, cant wait to visit again!
Western Hotel Liwa Housekeeping Team!
Shoutout to the amazing housekeeping staff at Western Hotel Liwa! 👏🌟 The rooms were spotless and the staff super friendly. Every detail was perfect, from the cozy arrangements to the immaculate cleanliness. The best housekeeping service that I have ever seen. Congratulations to the amazing housekeeping staff of the Western hotel Liwa. Definitely the best service I've experienced in UAE hotels! 🏨👌 Can't wait to visit again! Indrajit and shamila
It was very unexpected journey for us. When we got there we realized the hotel is inside a valley in the Empty Quarter, near Tel Moreeb, the place for Liwa International Festival.
I was worried due to I needed to park my car bit far from the hotel. I only saw the camels and the closed muddy roads due to the heavy rain one day back. When I came in the hotel everything changed. The Nepali waiter was so nice to serve us date and Turkish coffee. And he also helped us to take our luggages.
The Hotel is brand new but yet historical as it was recently renovated and opened. rooms are really nice and comfortable, it exceeded my expectations. The location near Moreeb Festival and attractions is fantastic. The staff, especially Mr. Saleh, the front office manager who was a constant presence ensuring our comfort 24/7. He made our stay exceptionally pleasant, and we would gladly return next year to meet him again. Highly recommend for a great and quiet experience in Liwa Oasis
Amazing place. The desert looks endless. Fun activities for the families with kids. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Loved everything about our stay. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, all requests are attended efficiently. Special thanks to the Chef that baked my birthday cake. This was by far the best cake I’ve had in UAE.
everything was amazing, we stayed in many many hotels in uae over the last decade but this was by far the most enjoyable stay, the views are out if this planet, the comfort and privacy of ur own villa and private pool, thr evening bbq, just amazing! and the staff was so friendly and caring! thank u!
Staying at Liwa nights was a transformative experience. From the second we stepped on to the property we were treated with care and unbelievable hospitality. It was beautiful, peaceful, etherial, cultural - we could not ask for more in a getaway.
Liwa Nights is located in an exceptional location out in the empty quarter. The hosts and staff were very friendly and efficient. The accommodation and food was also excellent. Wished I'd stayed for two nights.
The hotel concept is beautiful and totally different than other hotels in the middle of the desert the staff are friendly and hospitable
Love the room style and the private pool
The hotel pool is nice
Enjoyed the stay at Bab Al Nujoom in the interior desert of Liwa. Nice place to be with family. Villa interiors and fittings are of good quality. Night ambiance is well maintained with the low lights.
Amazing Hotel, our two bedroom villa was in the first row, overlooking the endless desert. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good, although the variety was limited.
Liwa nights is the perfect place to relax under the stars in the middle of the desert. The rooms are very comfortable, the view is magical and the owners are adorable and so friendly,
If you haven't been already, you must definitely include Liwa Nights when you are in Abu Dhabi.
An authentic, down to earth yet luxurious escape where every detail is beautiful.
Every detail is beautiful
The experience of Emirati hospitality
The owner made sure we had the best experience
Highly recommend the star gazing at night
