Simply incredible. Goes into few things in your life that you need to experience. I have no words. It’s one of those times when you wanna bring all of your friends to see the place 😀. Staff were fantastic. Reception staff ready to take your hand and show you the place. Take you where you need to go. Restaurant staff-highest level pros that speak multiple languages and are extremely friendly. Spa staff-kind and polite with (as my wife testifies) extraterrestrial massage abilities (Krishna I’m looking at you!). Hotel manager that is totally hands on. Jumped on one of my problems and solved it like a wizard. Much appreciated.

The overall experience at Comodo was exceptional; from the facilities, the design of the hotel itself to the smallest detail, the attention to detail and the little gestures. A particular callout to the personnel at Comodo - everyone, from the people at the reception, the bar, to the people at the restaurant, was SO AMAZING, polite, friendly, and professional. This really made a difference in the whole experience. The food was super fresh and mostly organic. Really enjoyed everything.

Our room had a beautiful view of snow capped mountains and the Bad Gastein Valley. We had freshly picked lettuces for our dinner and kind, friendly staff, including the owner’s family. We were picked up at the train station by Peter, the owner’s son, who also was our bartender in the evening. This a health spa, so try the Radon bath and the small group exercise class. I could hear birds singing all day in this precious spot with opportunity to ride a gondola to the top of nearby mountain for lunch surrounded by rugged Alpine peaks. This is a heavenly spot - a little isolated - so get the half board package and enjoy breakfast and dinner where the healthy menu changes daily.

Wow, this hotel is out of a fairytale, both the staff and guests are happy. Kids are laughing and play freely throughout the hotel with kindness from the staff and understanding from the other guests who are mostly other families or couples that know this is a family first hotel. The kids club was wonderful, though it’s good to understand the schedule well as mornings are outdoor activities. Meals are delicious and family friendly, with a special children dinner service, then off to kids club for the parents to eat. Spa was nice too.

The slopes/pists were guite challanging and lifts closed already 15:30 even down the mountain (week 4) Restaurants in the village that were available were expensive and not impressive quality. Restaurants on the mountain on the other hand had much better prices, service and surprisingly good quality. Recommend visiting: Bergstadl Bad Gastein, MEX Dinner Club, Hirsch & Maus, Silver Bullet Bar.

Amazing magical little town.

Amazing magical little town. I wish to get better information on ski passes and have a possibility to ask a person questions but otherwise great for skiers and non-skiers. Can’t wait to come back in summer!

Bad Gastein is amazing alpine village.

Bad Gastein is amazing alpine village. The views of Tauer mountain ridge are amazing. There are many options how you can spend your free time - spa, skiing or hiking. I also really love local craftsmen shop and products. I would recommend also stop in Salzburg during journey to Bad Gastein if its on your way.

We enjoyed our stay at springhouse.

We enjoyed our stay at springhouse. It has a very good location for skiing and the Felsenbaden is also close. For four people it’s not huge good size and overall it’s very cozy with nice ski decorations. The house-owner is super nice and willing. We recommend this place.

I loved Bad Gastein’s mix of Belle Époque elegance and wild mountain scenery. Mornings meant hiking and cable-car views; afternoons were for soaking in the thermal waters; evenings, cozy bars and great food. The waterfall running through town gives the whole place a dramatic energy. It felt like stepping back in time without losing modern comfort—truly a memorable stay.

Bad Gastein is an amazing mix of natural beauty and old-world charm, surrounded by stunning mountains and lush forests. In winter its a fantastic skiing area, and since its over 1000 meters elevated they usually have a long skiing season. In summer its great for hiking! There’s so much to do, from relaxing in the famous thermal spas to exploring endless hiking trails with breathtaking views.

Very good small pension, situated on excellent location in Bad Gastein. Owners of this little hotel, family Gsaller were very nice and always ready to help to their guests and always at their service. We had very big, nice room with nice balcony with phenomenal view on beautiful nature in the surrounding area. Bathroom was very big and perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good, with excellent choice of food and beverage.

Modern and beautiful hotel. All the facilities you’ll require during your stay are right there ready to use. Breakfast, pool and spa were fantastic and the bed was extremely comfortable. Easy access to train station/ski lift. The hotel is located down the hill but it’s an easy walk up or there’s a bus that can take you up. Would love to come back one day and will definitely recommend.

The hotel is very lovely. Not exactly in centre of Bad Gastein, but very close by foot. There is also sauna available after trips or whole day on snow. Our room was very comfy, spacefull and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with many option to choose - including fresh and quality food. I can highly recomend this hotel and also hope to visit them again!
