Vienna is a wonderful city full of majestic buildings,...
Vienna is a wonderful city full of majestic buildings, amazing architecture and a lot of order. The people are extremely friendly and very willing to help if needed. There is a train that leaves from Vienna airport to the city, there is no need to take the CAT (City airport train) that costs around 30 euros round trip per person, as the normal train that leaves from the same area as this fast train costs around 12 euros round trip and takes 45 minutes to get to the city. You take it at the airport and the terminal is in the city City Air Terminal (Wien Mitte) is a very central station and there is a very large supermarket right there if needed. Vienna is a very safe city, very pleasant, its food is very good and there is a great variety of restaurants and ice cream parlors to enjoy. Its tourist sites are very easy to access by tram, the ticket must be purchased in advance at a train or subway station, before getting on the tram. They have a great transportation network that makes it very easy to move around the city at low cost. Trams go almost everywhere and there are stops everywhere. Almost everyone speaks English and communication is very easy. I don't recommend the Hop-on-Hop-off bus in warmer weather because they don't have air conditioning and it can be a nightmare. However, in other seasons it does cover a good area of places but the price is not cheap. You can take the tram from the nearest station and go to the end and come back. You can see typical places in Vienna better than on a tour and for a low cost. The Christmas market is spectacular because it is located in the most beautiful area of downtown Vienna near the Cathedral, it is well worth a visit. You have to be careful when walking because in the pedestrian area and throughout the city there is a lane designated only for bicycles, which are abundant and go by at fast speed.

If you like culture, art and architecture then Vienna is definitely worth a visit. Lots of Cafes to chill out in when you have had enough of walking. The city is flat which makes it nice and easy for walking and there are plenty of good public transport options. Younger people can get around easily by bike or scooter. Lots of different places to eat from traditional Austrian to vegan. It is worth getting out of the city centre and exploring other neighbourhoods like Josefstadt.

As a capital city in Europe, there is much to see and enjoy.
As a capital city in Europe, there is much to see and enjoy. Local cuisine is excellent, if you like meat, but vegetarians and vegans can find their tastes too. Public transportation is impeccable and very convenient (prices are also convenient). City streets are VERY clean, walking is easy and nice (depending on the weather, prepare for autumn and winter properly).
Public parks are also very clean, very green and inviting. Weekends are quiet in particular, and the city provides an aura of composure. Highly recommended!

Vienna is a low-keyish town with lots to see and do if you like art music and architecture - it is not exciting like other European capitals but makes up for that with culture and class. The entrance fees for the museums are very pricey. The center of town is highly walkable and the metro system is very good food of course is excellent and there are numerous ethnicities besides the local fare.

Exceptional staff and service. Very clean as well with daily housekeeping if wanted. The location was perfect as only 2 stops from the city centre via tram service 43 amd 44 along with services 5 and 33 going north and south. The continental breakfast is great value for money if you pre-booked it or pay on daily basis depending on plans. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable on just about everything and can tell you how to get anywhere or what things to see or do.
I won't use any other hotel in Vienna due to all the above.
Perfect location, 2 metro stops from the city centre. Hotel was exceptionally clean, staff polite and friendly. Room was a good size, beds super comfortable amd bathroom was also good size. The aircon was a blessing since the temps were very high during our stay. The lady assisting during breakfasts is a lovely lady who makes sure everything is where it needs to be, will go above and beyond. Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from and great strong coffee too. I would definitely come back when in Vienna. Thank you!
The room was very big, clean and had a balcony which would have been good if it wasn't during a storm. The bathroom was very big with a separate toilet, shower and bath area, plus two sinks. The hotel is very close to a station to go to/from the airport, plus the tram/other trains to easily move around Vienna. Though it isn't that far to walk to many restaurants and the city centre.
Truth be told Hotel Motel One has an excellent location. Walking distance to the Opera and the Vienna city centre. We were lucky enough to come across Sheroo (who does the night shift) who deserves an honourable mention because he was the one who solved the major problems we faced regarding our stay and salvaged our stay.
