Room as described on booking.com . Appreciate that the sound-proofing indeed worked very well, and I could still open the window if I wanted to. Not mentioned on booking.com (or I missed it): Hotel has two washing machines and two driers for guest use.

Perfectly located right across the station. Breakfast was just wow! What a lovely spread. I was early and was expecting that I would drop my bag and leave for a bike ride but the lady at the reception checked that my room was available and allowed me an early check in which was so helpful

We were cycling the Alpe Adria trail as a family of three. The hotel is in a historic building in the very center of Villach. Upon arrival, we could park our bikes in a dedicated room in the courtyard. The rooms had a tasteful interior, appropriate form the building, everything was spotless clean and staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good . Best hotel on our trip, so far. Would definitely book again.

Gorgeous little city with wonderful people, scenery and vibe. It has a wonderful feel. Great place to visit without all the crowds, traffic and walkable. I only was there 3 days and I already want to return.

Picturesque old town with charming timber-framed buildings and some lively restaurants serving traditional food. We were only there for one night, but had a nice meal and sat in the lovely square with its fountain and bars.

Villach was very pretty, immaculate presentation Heaps of bars and restaurants Several bars had the complimentary self proclaimed pretend tough guys ( assume regulars) being loud which was off putting to patronise that bar, but there are others to go to Well worth a night if stopping over on the train

Last year I was there before Christmas and now between Xmas and New Year's Eve. During both stay the town had beautiful Christmas decoraitons and atmosphere. People were iceskating by the main street. The small temporaty pubs in the main street were charming and attractive. It is great to walk cross or along the river dividing the town. Gerlitzen Alpen and Ossiac See (lake) are just a short trip by car

It's a nice small city with a vibrant city-life.

It's a nice small city with a vibrant city-life. You can hike or bike on the surrounding mountains or just relax at one of the lakes. Great restaurants: Restaurant Delphi and Mexican Cantina Salud are really good. However, if you prefer a more traditional cousine Restaurant Der Stadtwirt is really good

The hotel is centrally located, just across the main railway station. The sound isolation is very good, you can't hear the street noise when the windows are closed. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The AC and wi-fi are good. Check in is pretty fast and hassle-free. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, a bakery and a kebab place less than a minute away. The city center is a pleasant five-minute walk.

Fantastic hotel! Right in the centre of Villach, exceptionally clean, very good breakfast, very friendly breakfast staff. We were disappointed to only stay two nights here!
