Amamoor Lodge in Amamoor provides adults-only accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and barbecue facilities.

We loved the quiet location and the beautiful little town of Amamoor. With only 5 rooms the property provides a truly relaxing getaway. The pool was great and the weather was still pleasant for a swim in April. The nearby state forest has some great walks and the Mary valley is beautiful for day drives. The hotel is a short drive to gympie for the essentials. We will return.

Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms.

Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms. The property is dated but it meats the style of an old Queenslander. If it was modernised would spoil character.Great wrap round verandah which is gated and can be closed off for young children to safely play. Plenty of utensils and crockery etc in the kitchen, some older adding to the character Will be back to explore this property walking opportunities, dam, ,cattle and horse further

It depends on what one wants/needs.

It depends on what one wants/needs. It is a very small village with few facilities. If one wants to get away from the rat race, Amamoor and nearby villages (Kandanga, Imbil) provide that possibility. For us, oldies, who have left the overcrowded and noise-polluted world, it is paradise, that is why we chose it.

Rose was very accommodating with our late check-in. The room was super comfortable, spacious and clean. had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Wish we stayed longer to discover the beautiful surrounds. We woke up to a foggy winter morning of fresh air. It was beautiful.

Amamoor is a small township with lots going on & heaps to do. You can be as busy or quiet as you like!! I needed a real time-out period & I got it. The beauty of the countryside.was so soothing & yet the short hikes & location of the neighouring towns was a treasure & a pleasure to input into the economy of these towns. Hopefully tourism will explode & help these townships to get back to notmal. Just tge scenery is well worth it!!

The accommodation was perfect - Restful and relaxing.

The accommodation was perfect - Restful and relaxing. I would have liked more time to stay - I am planning another longer stay to explore the walking wildlife and surrounds. Lovely hosts and most accommodating. The greeting by the dog and the pet hen was an added bonus.
