The house was not as it appeared in the photos at all.
The house was not as it appeared in the photos at all. Photos were from 15 years ago, the owner had used the photos of when previous owners had sold the property. We found the photos on a realestate website. There was no ceiling fans, just 2 portable small fans, no air conditioning. The house had not been cleaned in months, dead insects and cob webs in window frames, mould on window sill, windows dirty, coffee stains running down surface of garbage bin in kitchen, BBQ old, dirty and rusted out. Access to house dangerous and gardens overgrown and rotting leaves at front door. A promise to give us a 25% refund that was never met. I have wasted so much time trying to get our money back from Sascha. I’ve stayed /booked with Booking.com on several occasions but am now telling friends of my experience as don’t think I’ll ever book through you again unless something is done about this. I want a refund, we paid $540+ a night and were totally ripped off. We had no alternative as checked in at 3pm and now know we would never have gotten our money back.AmandaAustralia
