Genuinely lovely hotel in a great little town. Staff ensured self check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Really obvious that the hotel is a labour of love, a really nicely decorated place and immaculately clean too.

Bright lives up to expectations for Autumn beauty.
Bright lives up to expectations for Autumn beauty. This trip we didn't venture beyond town having done sightseeing drives before. We enjoyed our strolls beside the river from the central area on well marked walking tours. The restaurants we visited to purchase meals to take away to sit by the river were served by polite, cheerful and personable staff on each occasion, and were beautiful.

Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo.
Great location for bushwalking in mt buffalo. Some nice but expensive restaurants. The bright pub brewery is going downhill, a few years ago it was far better, the food now is terrible and the beer is uninteresting. Very sad. Third visit to bright but I guess we won’t return soon.

Bright is a wonderful town.
Bright is a wonderful town.
There are many activities and sites for people to do and visit.
I recommend booking a bike if you want to tour the surrounding areas. Otherwise, there are fantastic walking tracks around the town.
The town is beautiful in summer and more so in Autumn, when most of the leaves have turned golden brown or red.

The prettiest town we have seen.
The prettiest town we have seen. The Autumn trees are stunning as were the beautiful tree lined streets. The river has so much history with gold mining and caters for all in terms of fishing, cycling, walking and swimming. A village like atmosphere that offers great restaurants and is central to other tourist sites in the area such as Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Beechworth and Falls Creek.

Beautiful riverside town.
Beautiful riverside town. Popular with holiday makers enjoying the river when hot. Lovely walks along the river. Plenty of options for food and drink in the lovely tree lined town. A good start to hire bikes for the rail trail.
This is my second time staying at Bright Riverside Holiday Park. The cabins are just amazing, very planned out, and clean and have everything you would ever want in your stay. And so much more. The location is in the heart of BRIGHT, very close to shops, and restaurants. Around Bright Riverside Holiday Park there is a beautiful lake that you can walk by and take photos or simply just sit by the lake and relax, while taking in the amazing views.
The unit we stayed in was new, clean and very well maintained and it was perfect for a family of 5. The location itself was very convenient, which was a short walk to town. It was a busy period during snow season but there was always parking available and checking in and out was too easy. We even got a discount with our snow gear! Definitely a good place to stay if you are in Bright and we will definitely be coming back!
Chestnut Tree Holiday units are set in one of the most beautiful surroundings of Bright, Victoria with immaculate gardens and terrific views from the rooms. Our apartment was super clean and well decorated, beds super comfy and the hosts have gone above and beyond making sure all is provided for a comfortable stay. One of the top places we have stayed at in Victoria. Look forward to returning.
Good location close to the town center. Close to the ovens river and walking trails. There is a nice walking trail just behind the hotel. There is a nice spot for a Picnic by the river close by. The rail trail bike ride was also located close by. Pet friendly is the major draw card for this property. We would never stay here if we didn't have a dog.
Cabin was clean and everything worked as it should. Plenty of hot water. Liked being a short distance from Bright, nice and quiet, but close enough to easily drive to restaurants etc. Good communication by the owners on our day of arrival, checking in was a breeze. We were also able to check out an hour later than normal which was great 😃
Great location and plenty of parking available. Perfect for a single night stay as we headed to Mt Hotham the following day. We ate at the pub and the food and service was perfect. The room was as expected and was good value for money. If we were staying in town for a weekend, I'd definitely get a bigger hotel room at an alternate location.
great location and quality sofa, mini kitchen which is convenient. Bright gate is easy to find motel and lower the risk to pass. Hot water is quick after turning on. So you do not have to wash with cold water for a while if you are the first person rush into shower room. It is a good point if you return from a mountain top or ski resort.
The location was decent - we were able to walk into the centre of town (some people might think it was a bit far, but 20 min walk for the price was ok for us). The room was fully prepared for cold weather - extra blankets, space heaters, etc. There was a great amount of space in the family suit.
The house is very clean and modern.
Our family was really enjoyed the stay.
The kitchen is big and bright, the owner has all cooking tool and very usefull.
We will definitely come back to stay in this property again.
The property was clean and comfortable and pet friendly. No hidden extra charges when you add a person or a pet to the booking makes this a great property around Bright.
Cute little place just outside the township of Bright. Quiet location. The facilities are serviceable and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
