Friendly staff. Holley at Reception was very welcoming. Although Check-in was at 3pm, as we had informed we would be arriving at ard 11am, Holley got a room ready for us to check-in early and enjoy the resort facilities. Welcome drink was tasty and my kid enjoyed the welcoming experience. Pool and salt water lagoon was the highlight of the stay. Excellent spread for buffet breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here again.

What Guests Said About Gold Coast:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 4.0

I hate the high rise right along the beaches.

I hate the high rise right along the beaches. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Sensible places keep high rise back from the shoreline so it doesn't overshadow the beaches. As if that weren't bad enough, the canal "estates" wreak havoc on marine life. There are some nice bits south of Surfers Paradise and I hope someone has the good sense not to let the trash spread further than it already has. Because before all this developer-led nonsense the Gold Coast was a truly beautiful and special place.

I have never been to the Gold Coast before, while I loved all the attractions the shopping at Pacfic Fair and Habour Town was outstanding. I spent way too much money and was only contained by my luggage allowance - next time I will be better preapared.

Beautiful beaches, lovely area. Nice restaurants. The walk around the headland to the inlet is beautiful with stunning views. Currently lots of road works where the tram lines are being installed but once complete it will make access to the coastline very easy and affordable

As my trip was related to a tennis championship I had very little time to do any sightseeing. Also being the school holidays it was extremely busy & parking at various spots was almost non existent. I think I would prefer to visit outside the school holiday period to enjoy outings to places of interest. I have been to the Gold Coast previously albeit years ago & enjoy returning on occasions.

*The beaches are just beautiful. *Cavill Avenue is thriving and has so much to look at, do and eat, for all ages. *The 50c tram is fantastic and there are Lime bikes everywhere to hire. *To do for a solo traveller: Can easily walk along the beach from Main Beach to Cavill Avenue; Beachfront market; Carrara market; Cavill Avenue (Maniax axe throwing); Robina Town Centre and Harbour Town DFO for shopping.

I was booked to go parasailing but that was cancelled due to high winds, Missed the jet skis because we went to the Jet Ski safaris on the other side where I went before. Instead, we did the jetboat and helicopter ride which were great. Visited Skydeck, nice views but nowhere to sit and enjoy a coffee. All the tables were reserved with a not very friendly waiter (Ratree) who chased us out of 2 tables even when there was no reserved sign on one of them.

loved the furnishings, the twin suite was spacious and the kitchenette had everything we needed (toaster, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery etc) which is always a bonus when staying at hotel. the spa was relaxing and the general vibe of the place was cool. the location was the best thing about it since the restaurants downstairs and nearby were much better and cheaper than some of the ones we previously tried when we stayed at hotels nearby

Tidy and modern. bang for buck! Location is away from the noise but still close to walk or bike to the town of surfers. bikes ride from SeaWorld and just overall a really great hotel! we stayed a week and it was honestly so cheap. it was too good to be true. once we arrived we were very happy! however, it wasn’t peak season so I’m guessing prices would rise around Xmas, school holidays etc
