A lovely motel, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom, very comfortable for my partner and I staying with our friend. The Manager Whitney is friendly, accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. This is our second stay at Mount Beauty Motor Inn and we will defiantly return again.

A nice mountain view from our "balcony" helped us to relax. When checking in, we were originally assigned an upstairs room. My wife and I have difficulty navigating stairs, and although we were happy to take that room, the Receptionist quickly changed our room to downstairs. They went out of their way to make us comfy and was greatly appreciated. Apart from that, room and amenities were above expectations.

Location was great.

Location was great. For a short vacation it was a good place to stay. Property manager Whitney was very helpful right from booking to check out. Room could have been a bit bigger for more comfortable stay but you dont go to mount beauty to stay in a room so was alright.

A township of 3200 people, with quiet and beautiful settings...

A township of 3200 people, with quiet and beautiful settings. Glorious scenery surrounded by mountains, a photographers dream location. Our was an nostalgic trip and nothing seems to changed in 5 years, but becoming more sophisticated with a number of attractive wine bars, and micro-breweries. The Visitors Information Bureau has a detailed history of the area including details of the construction on the hydro scheme operating still in the area. Well worth traveling up the hill to Bogong Village and Falls creek - ski resort. Ate at West Peak Hotel - nice meal and has its own Micro Brewery. Recommend.

Beautiful small town, with friendly people.

Beautiful small town, with friendly people. It's October, not many tourist, so a bit quiet. Mt Bugong is majestic - must view it at the Pondage in town to catch the reflection. Peaceful and relax, as we needed.

Very pretty area but roads dangerous in the wet weather. We left the area early the next morning for Bright and could not get a coffee anywhere, all 4 places were packed and the info centre told us it was a 50 minute wait! Why more places don’t open I don’t know, there were tons of restaurants closed. We left and went to Wangaratta where we had a brilliant breakfast at Hollywood’s.

Picture perfect down with autumn leaves, a beautiful lake, and most of all super friendly people. Rather easy access to Falls Creek, Bright and King's Valley winery. Perfect location for enjoying through autumn to winter and benefit from the view, tranquility and convenience.

Chose this time of the year for the Autumnal colors and it did not disappoint. The scenery is fantastic at any time and it's close to ski resort at Falls Creek. Lots of day trips, hiking and walking trails.

Location is a bit far from Bright. I understand it's not fair to blame the property, and that if I wanted to stay in Bright, I should have opted for hotels in Bright. Greenery all around the property. Kitchenette is alright. There is no reception or front office counter for you to talk to or to do check-in formalities, but you can call their mobile number, and the Vietnamese/Chinese lady is willing to help. She disconnects the phone call very quick though. LOL !

The cottage and grounds were beautifully maintained. The views spectacular. And an excellent location to relax, have some time in nature and seen the town of mount beauty. Such a great spot for our family getaway but would also be great for couples or groups.

The customer service was outstanding. Over the phone before arrival and during our stay. They were accommodating and so friendly, always with a smile. And the best, they are a dog friendly hotel which make so easy to travel as a family.

The view from this motel is stunning. The sunrise is awesome. It is very close to the town centre of Mount Beauty with Foodworks, chemist & hospital. Only 35 min drive to Falls Creek.
