AustraliaExcellent location. Check in & out process, and over snow transfer was easy, the staffs were friendly. The apartment was clean and tidy, and a great view. The swimming pool and spa was great after a day on the snow.

AustraliaGreat apartment that had everything you would need for a getaway. Living area was spacious with a fold out couch, dining table and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom had a shower/bath combination so if you had little children that preferred baths it would be perfect but a little tight on space.

Mt Hotham is a fabulous spot to ski, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and just relax. The ski runs are numerous, and varied in levels of skiing required. The lifts are good and well staffed. The Skiing options are the best available given the weather. The dining options are limited….most venues have minimal vegetarian options. Bring your own food and ensure your accom caters for that. All the staff are very friendly. The location of the property was very convenient for us as we have enrolled our kids for the ski lessons and this property is right next to the Big D lifts. Also we really loved the vibe (access via The General Restaurant) and the views from the balcony / bed room. The rooms were clean, fully functional kitchen, excellent views of the mountains from the balcony and one of bed room (out of two) and a working wifi, Netflix / Disney plus availability was an added advantage. Our accommodation was perfect for families with small children. It was accessible to everything. There probably wasn't as much snow as we would have liked but understand it's a seasonal luck of the draw thing. We ate at home and at the pub.Guest review bySally - 8.0

I loved the scenery/views from the mountain and the accommodation was comfortable and relaxing. I especially appreciated the heater and king bed, with the spa bath a nice addition (even if a little narrow). The only thing missing from the apartment was shampoo (just as well I had my own). The entry door to the building does not open easily and should be adjusted for smoother operation. Service-wise, staff were friendly and accommodating, providing room service and engaging in chat. I do think the administrators of Mountain Dreaming need to consider installing better signage and even stronger lighting that can at least partially cut through fog in order to make it easier for guests to locate the property in bad weather; inclement conditions are common in alpine areas after all. Excellent resort!
Excellent resort! Good facilities and staff, plenty of areas to suit all levels of skiing, but best for intermediate and above. Nice places to eat out for dinner and small cafes around the mountain while out skiing. Easy to get around the village either walking or driving, with plenty of parking.Guest review byJulieAustralia

We were coming up to Hotham to do a hike, and due to the landslide/road closure had to delay our trip. The staff helped us with advice on how to get to Hotham, gave us advice on alternative routes. They even helped us with queries about transport. When we finally arrived we arrived very late, as we drove up from Melbourne after work (11pm). They greeted us outside the general store which doubles as the hotel entrance (because we were a little lost and driving past a few times) and even gave us advice on the hike before we set out.
