AustraliaThe family managing the property were really nice. They even helped us when our car battery died down as we were about to vacate the place. The facilities were really neat and clean. It is just next to the petrol station which has a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

Nelson is a small settlement at the mouth of the Glenelg...
Nelson is a small settlement at the mouth of the Glenelg River. The main attraction is the surf beach and the shallow waters in Discovery Bay and Oxbow Lake which attract black swans and countless coast loving birds.
The river and the shorelines are very scenic.
Being such a small settlement, as can be expected the facilities are somewhat sparse, although the Nelson Hotel is a focal point offering excellent cold beer on tap and meals.
