This newly renovated hotel is a gem - primarily because the staff are first class! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to assist. We had a minor issue with our fridge, and the staff went above and beyond, offering us an upgrade and bending over backwards to assist. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was first-rate. Loved the onesie and slippers in the room, and the 9th-floor suite was stunning. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days with our 2-year-old daughter, and it was a great experience. The staff were helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was amazing. I think it’s the best location in Perth if you’re traveling with a baby.

Great room options to choose from. After staying in just about every option possible at this property I can say that the King Suite on the River side is a phenomenal room. The rooms are clean and accommodating. The Staff is the highlight of this property however. You can have good rooms, facilities, food. But the front desk staff and their kind and friendly accommodating nature is what made this property special for me.

Clean, cozy, colorful and comfortable. Staff at reception was helpful when we wanted to extend our checkout to 5PM due to late flight or when we needed a help with parking. Staff at the breakfast was also very friendly and kind. We had room on 14th floor in the corner facing river and cityscape. The sunsets were great and the night city lights feels like you are touching the city. I can imagine that different rooms might leave different experience.

FAQs about hotels in Perth

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laid-back, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city center has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialties such as western rock lobster and chili mussels. There are also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

Perth rivals Sydney for its beautiful waterfront.

Perth rivals Sydney for its beautiful waterfront. Perth has a very pleasant CBD (downtown core) and the Elizabeth Quay is a perfect gathering/event/eating area. The Swan river is fascinating with so much wildlife and there's plenty to do nearby including Fremantle and some beautiful beaches (City and Scarborough). Well worth the 5 hour flight from the east coast!

The Centre of Perth is so interesting with a wide variety of shops, cute arcades, and an enchanting waterfront area. It is so easy to walk around and to access all City Centre attractions. In addition, a free bus regularly runs through the central city area, between the train station and the bus station. The public transport into the Centre from the surrounding suburbs is very efficient and so easy to access. Freemantle and the adjacent beaches are also very accessible, by train, from Perth central. A quick ferry ride (8 minutes) from the waterfront, followed by a 10minute walk, provides easy access to Perth zoo. A very sunny climate adds "icing to the cake", in making this city so attractive.

Perth is a great city, easy to drive around and went to both locations south of the river and north of the river. I come to Perth every few months and there are always new restaurants to try and seems to be popular for sport and entertainment.

Perth is a beautiful city with plenty to do. In our opinion second only to Sydney as the best in Australia. Perth can hold its head up against any of the great cities in Europe and the US. The river is the main feature with the foreshore on both sides just amazing.

The hotel is located in the city centre with bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets within a walkable distance. Also with a bus stop nearby and a short walk to Perth Underground and train station. On our first night we were given a room without a city view but the staff managed to allocate us in a room with a balcony. Many thanks to the brilliant staff. We would definitely stay there again.
