Everyone has their own views of Sydney. But always plenty to do and good public transport. Not a good idea to rent or use a car for day to day travelling around Sydney. Dont just stock up on Bondi Beach - see the Northern beaches as well. .

We've been to Syd many times however didn't venture much out of the Hotel this time as it was a 2-day layover. Having said that, Syd is a busy, vibrant city with lots of things to see & do. Would recommend a visit for first timers.

Sydney and Darling Harbour is just a pretty place day and night. We felt safe walking around the area and our accommodation at the Ibis Hotel was good value for the money. The transport by rail and light rail was very convenient to Darling Harbour. I live in Sydney and travelled overseas but I still think Sydney is such a nice city to visit to enjoy the habour and the attractions it has to offer to visitors.

First, public transport is very good.
First, public transport is very good. Second, plenty of places to dine from McDonalds to 5 star. Third, plenty of shops. Fourth, tourist attractions there is something for everyone. Keep your eye on your belongings at all time. Could have lost my handbag to 2 con artists. One distracts you while the other looks carefully at your belongings.

The booking was cancelled on the last minute by the hotel. Booking.com was not very helpful. They have zero customer service. You can’t talk to anyone at booking.com since they don’t have any contact number. Would not recommend wasting your money with booking.com. I haven’t even received a refund
Beautiful hotel very luxurious, amazing harbour views. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever been to. I have stayed at many hotels in Sydney CBD this is top 1 or 2 overall we will stay again.
