Hong KongWe enjoyed our 8 nights staying at Studio 8 Residences. The location is very convenient for travellers to go to the city or to the West of Blue Mountains. There are buses and night buses to reach the hotel in a few minutes' walking distance. Top Ryde Shopping mall across the road has Coles, Woolworth, BigW,Kmart, and many good restaurants and food courts at a reasonable price.
The hotel room has a nice balcony, a microwave, a kettle, a big refrigerator, and a sink, which is very convenient to make your own breakfast. On top of this, there is a common kitchen and coin laundry. We cooked twice in the kitchen for fun. The rooftop has a city view where you can do bbq or watch firework.
The receptionist (2 male students, an IT student, and a martial art student) during the New Year period were very friendly and helpful. They made you feel welcome and a home feeling. The housekeeping, Wone had done a great job in keeping the room clean and tidy.
We enjoyed our stay from 30 December 24 to 8 January 25 at the hotel. The hotel also provided a free airport shuttle to the hotel, but we didn't use this service. We booked Uber to the airport and costs around aud 60. We will definitely recommend Studio 8 Residences to our friends.

I have lived in Sydney and now stay there from time to time. It is still a very good place to visit and public transport has improved the light rail is very popular. Look up guide books to get the most out of your stay. Don't hesitate to ask a friendly Australian if you need any assistance.

Sydney has so much to offer.
Sydney has so much to offer. We visited the CBD and Circular Quay and took a ferry to the very historical island Cockatoo Island where ships were repaired in WW2 and did a tour of the Opera House which was wonderful. The Public transport system is easy to use with helpful 'Information people' wherever you go to assist you. We used Trip Planner NSW to guide us as well.

We loved the city and the transport system was excellent (train). We found the actual main shopping district quite difficult to navigate, and quite frustrating. We loved Circular Quay and the markets at The Rocks.

Loved the vibe at Circular Quay. A ferry trip is a must do. Also use the tram system if you can. Called light rail. We only paid $1 from our trips to and from Town Hall stop.
And if you can, book a show at the Sydney Opera house or a tour.

I always stay at Maze when I do a trip to Sydney (I live a few hours away and often come down for concerts/shows/games etc). The location is so convenient as I catch the train to Sydney and Maze is only a short walk from Central. I get a single room as I’m a bit older than most backpackers in their early 20s, but the bathrooms are clean and in this economy I can’t afford hotels in the CBD anymore. Everyone is friendly though and the front desk staff were helpful.

Awesome hotel near CBD. it's clean and run by a Mgr called Donna. it's very clean.
near to opera house & CBD & circular quay. A nice breakfast will be provided, at least you can manage till 4 pm, without eating anything. Apart from the hotel, I like the coffee machine. I have also recommended to my office people to book this hotel when they attend Sydney. its very near to everything.

We stayed here last year and came back thisbyear becauae it is close to CBD and the quay, easy to walk to everything. Comfortable bed and they upgraded us to a suite this time which was wonderful. One of the few hotels that you can include parking with your booking which was great for us as we drove to Sydney. Staff were friendly. Loved the bath, it was deep enough for a good soak.

The only value of this stay is the good location. But to be honest, CBD is small, all the hotels in CBD are all in good location. Hence, a good location won't be the reason for me to choose here again.
