The view from the room was fantastic. We woke up every morning to see the bustling harbor, which was something new for us. The hotel was near to many great places to visit, and getting around was easy. Overall, it was great, we will definitely stay again next time we are in Sydney.

The place was absolutely gorgeous and impeccably appointed — from the room controls to the Dyson hairdryer, every detail was just lovely. Chris at reception was so warm and welcoming. But the real highlight of my stay was the food — indescribably good. It was so exceptional that I ended up enjoying three meals at the restaurant during my overnight stay!

Sydney CBD is easy to get around and easy walking for most of your little 'discovery tours' of the inner city, from Surry Hille to Darling Harbour and down to The Rocks or Circular Quay. Light rail, Metro and busus are well spaced and regular. Inner city theatres and concert halls are easy to get to, and there seem to be as many coffee shops and eateries as there are appetites! Day or half day trips are offered for all tastes, from Harbour cruises to Blue Mts tours. And shopping is there for all tastes and price ranges.

Sydney is a fabulous beautiful city to visit.

Sydney is a fabulous beautiful city to visit. I was only there for a weekend catching up with old friends and didn't get to do much. But would always recommend it as a wonderful place. I took my son to Manly for a day, which was lovely. He loved Chinatown and Darling Harbour at night but I wish I had planned better to see some of Sydney's nightlife (Phantom in the park; Opera House lit up at night)

First trip to Sydney: Day one did tour of Opera House - highly recommend!! Then caught ferry to Manly for lunch. Day two - full day tour to Blue Mountains - also highly recommend! Day three - walked across Harbour Bridge & back, free time to look around The Rocks, then did a sunset harbour cruise with platters. We walked to all of these from our accommodation in Millers Point, which was easily accessible and very quiet and also had two pubs very close for dinners.

The Northern Beaches area is arguably the best place in Sydney, and Manly is probably the jewel in the crown when it comes to eating out and beach activities. The sightseeing there with nice strolls about suits both young and old people. Manly is just a short ferry ride to the Sydney CBD where you can head out to the rest that the city has to offer.

the only reason I go to Sydney is to get on the plane.

the only reason I go to Sydney is to get on the plane. lived in North Sydney in 2021 and had my fill of the place. I lived in Central New Jersey in the 1990's and would go to NY if I had to. I go to Newcastle and go to Sydney if I have to. Sydney may be less hospitable than New York. Both places may take that as a badge of honor.

Prime location: in the CBD but in a quiet side street - nevertheless still close to all amenities such as shops, bars, hotels, restaurants and Circular Quay. Room was plenty ample. Bed large and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom - with a bath. Usual mini bar and tea/ coffee facilities. Staff were excellent: friendly, courteous, accommodating and professional - from arrival, reception, room service, bars to our departure. A really enjoyable experience.

This is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney due to its location in the CBD. Also the staff are extremely friendly, professional and almost anticipate your requirements. The driveway service when taxis required is prompt and courteous. This hotel may not have the harbour views but it certainly has so many other qualities important to me when in that busy city!
