Everything. A fabulous end to a lovely trip to Sydney to visit my daughter. (She works across the street in AMP building - which is what prompted me to book a night here) First time in Australia and what a way to say goodbye. Could happily live in this hotel!

Getting from Darling Harbour to the Harbour Bridge on a rainy, dark night is a bit challenging, Harhour Street, travelling under The Western Distrubutor underpass is dark, dirty and very congested. That part of the city needs a clean-up and more street lighting.

Sydney is undoubtably one of the most beautiful harbour cities in the world and we have travelled the world at least 2.5 times. 7 days is not long enough to see all that is available in Sydney and its surrounds. We spent 2 days travel, 4 days on VIVID activities and 1 day outside of VIVID activities.

One of my favourite experiences in Sydney was watching the sunset from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I also enjoyed walking from Milsons Point in the morning and taking in the beautiful harbour views. I had some great meals at local cafés and restaurants around the city. Getting around Sydney was very easy using trains, light rail, and walking. For solo travelers, I recommend visiting the Sydney Opera House, walking around Circular Quay, exploring The Rocks, taking a ferry ride, and enjoying the coastal walks. Sydney is a safe and beautiful city with plenty to see and do on your own.

We came for the Vivid Festival and had a really jam packed day and night. For starters the hop on hop off bus for sightseeing, sea life, a dinner cruise and ended with a slow jet boat ride around the harbour plus a bit of shopping.

Great city with some iconic locations and views. Lots to do and different suburbs cater for different interests and have different vibes. Highly recommend Otto for then the Art Gallery NSW, then a walk through the Botanic Gardens, coming out at the Opera House. The Rocks has lots of character and worth a wander.

In Australia, the Meriton chain of hotels is the best in the Service Apartments category. * Fully equipped spacious rooms * Ease of availability for all amenities * Centrally located making it convenient to reach all tourist, food, and shopping places within 15-20 minutes. A special mention of Jess and Isabel from the Front Office who made our entire stay extremely comfortable. They were very professional and totally helped us with all our requirements.
