It was exactly as shown in the pictures – everything was perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was clean, quiet, and well equipped, with a balcony. We really appreciated the daily bottled water and the complimentary daily coffee at reception. I would especially highlight the rooftop area where you can barbecue, as well as the large shared kitchen, which is spotless and fully equipped for preparing any kind of meal. Everything we needed was available at the mall across the street, and the 500X bus provided quick access to the CBD.

The place was absolutely gorgeous and impeccably appointed — from the room controls to the Dyson hairdryer, every detail was just lovely. Chris at reception was so warm and welcoming. But the real highlight of my stay was the food — indescribably good. It was so exceptional that I ended up enjoying three meals at the restaurant during my overnight stay!

We are looking forward to exploring more of Sydney as we are now retired. Sydney weather is fantastic and there is plenty of sites for us to yet discover. Historic sites mingled with a mix of cosmopolitan restaurants. We dined at O Be sure to check on parking options. Public transport is awesome but need to check on metro and light rail times and availability as sometimes these can be impacted by scheduled maintenance. Ferries also a great option. Take a cruise up the river or over to Manly. Get to view how the other half live.

I loved the location - Olympic Park - very close to the aquatic centre and transport links. The concierge was so helpful when my phone screen stopped working and had to be replaced on New Years Eve! He located the nearest open phone repair shop and gave me use of the hotel's phone to contact them. And then called a taxi. He was a life saver!
