    The public transport is great.

The public transport is great. We got an opal card but could not get a seniors one as we lived interstate and had to order online weeks previously. We stayed in Ashfield which was a short train ride to circular Quay to catch the ferries. The weather was not too cold which surprised me but was threatening rain all the time.

So much to do and see.

So much to do and see. The Big Bus open top tour bus was brilliant value for money. Easy to find reasonably priced eating places. As well as the Opera House and Bridge, we got the ferry from The Rocks back to Circular Quay and this was a cheap get a different view of Sydney. Loved our 3 day trip and now looking at doing it again.

Everyone has their own views of Sydney. But always plenty to do and good public transport. Not a good idea to rent or use a car for day to day travelling around Sydney. Dont just stock up on Bondi Beach - see the Northern beaches as well. .

We've been to Syd many times however didn't venture much out of the Hotel this time as it was a 2-day layover. Having said that, Syd is a busy, vibrant city with lots of things to see & do. Would recommend a visit for first timers.

Loved this boutique hotel and will definitely stay there next time I'm in Sydney. I normally stay at luxury hotels in the CBD for work but I enjoyed this stay far more. The room was clean and really comfortable. It was super quiet at night time even tho the hotel its on Oxford St and the staff are really friendly. They have an area downstairs where you can make a coffee and help yourself to a yummy pastry or two in the morning. Thank you Mrs Banks Hotel :)

Location right near domestic airport is reason we use it. Have done so several times & will do so again. It has a fast & reliable airport SHUTTLE, the reason why I selected this hotel originally. Having a good shuttle is my number one NEED, especially in these times of RAIL STRIKES & Taxis getting harder to locate at Central & UBERS even harder to contact .

The booking was cancelled on the last minute by the hotel. Booking.com was not very helpful. They have zero customer service. You can’t talk to anyone at booking.com since they don’t have any contact number. Would not recommend wasting your money with booking.com. I haven’t even received a refund
