United StatesWe checked in late and rushed to get a quick dinner in bar / restaurant before it closed. Pizza was good. Check in staff very friendly, helpful when our key card did not work (quickly came to room with new key cards.) Overall a very clean higher-end place to stay.

The kangaroo family visit every evening and the only sounds you will hear are those of nature. I will

Torquay does not feel as busy as some other places along the Great Ocean Road, perhaps because the shops and beaches are a little more spread out. The walk along the front (part of the Surf Coast Walk) is beautiful for a stroll or a jog. The different beaches in the area offer something for everyone. The area seems to be super dog friendly- lots of doggos running around at the beach. The location is excellent with the beach and main shopping centre literally down the road. Next door is a service station that sells bits and pieces you may have forgotten to pack, which was handy! The Cafes & Beaches were lovely. Don't waste time going to Squires Loft - the waitresses and food were great, however nearly a 2 hour wait for our food to be served and the manager was rude on arrival and on departure, no apology. Torquay was a lovely beach side town .
Torquay was a lovely beach side town . A great place to start to follow the great ocean road and visit the other towns along the way .while taking in the breath taking views of the coast line . The pool and cafe provided a nice atmosphere.
