This was my sixth stay at the hotel, which says a lot in itself. The central location is fantastic, with the added bonus of free parking. The staff are consistently excellent—helpful, friendly, and professional. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast is good, with a nice focus on local cuisine. On top of all that, the price remains very reasonable. I will definitely return again.

This apartment management has ruined our one day vacation...

This apartment management has ruined our one day vacation stay. This management (Timur guy) is unprofessional, rude and bunch of liars. Our nightmares started from the beginng and never ended. The whole list of the broken things : 1 Original booked studio had refrigerator missing which is a violation of the contract. That was the main reason we got another apartment 2 The new apartment had no tea kettle which is a violation of the contract. It was delivered only an our later though 3 Microwave, refrigerator were not working initially Ines had no clue how to make it work 4 stove was very hot but we never touched it an never turned it on. This could cause the fire. 5 we lost several hours because of all problems above and lost a tour around the city. Our expensive food spoiled because of refrigerator was not working initially 6 The outdoor lock was broken and we were not able to close the door from inside. We felt very uncomfortable and insecure sleeping with open door in a questionable neighborhood 7 The smell of urine was so strong coming of the bathroom that making sleeping at the bedroom (adjacent to bathroom) challenging. It seems that flushing of the toilet didn’t work for weeks. Terrible. Overall experience of staying was extremely bad. More like a torture than a relax 8 They tried many times forcing us to pay cash even description of the booking states clearly. I consider this a violation of contract and kinda of extortion or them trying to evade local taxes "Payment information Luxury Aparthotel Mejtaš Hills - Old Town handles all payments. This property accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro" Our day was completely screwed up because of terrible conditions of this apartment and terrible management I suggest to anyone to stay away from this company and their apartments. Never again and suggest them to be delisted from booking.com

Sarajevo is a perfect 2-3 day get away.

Sarajevo is a perfect 2-3 day get away. It is full of history and culture, vibrant and in my eyes safe. The people are extremely welcoming and friendly. Due to location of Sarajevo being surrounded by hills/mountains it is incredibly beautiful. There is enough to keep you occupied with museums, walks, the Bizaar and lots of cafes to try out the local cuisine. There is s fusion of cultures where East meets West with both local mosques, churches and synagogues. If you are more adventurous there is always a day trip to Mostar by train or organised tour which I would highly recommend.

Sarajevo was perhaps the most disorienting place I've ever been, but in a very good way. It is truly east meets west in a beautiful setting with a very poignant history. Highly recommended if you want to pack a lot of history and scenery in a compact city break.

Sarajevo turned out to be far more interesting than I...

Sarajevo turned out to be far more interesting than I expected. What makes the city special is not a single landmark, but the atmosphere created by the meeting of different cultures, religions, and historical periods within a very compact area. The highlight for me was the old Ottoman quarter around Baščaršija, with its narrow streets, copper workshops, traditional cafés, and lively local atmosphere. Walking through Bravadžiluk and Sarači early in the morning before the crowds arrived was one of the most enjoyable experiences of the trip. I also enjoyed exploring the hills above the city, including the Yellow Fortress and the former Olympic bobsleigh track on Mount Trebević. The views over the valley help explain both the beauty of Sarajevo and its difficult history. What impressed me most was how authentic the city still feels. Unlike many popular European destinations, Sarajevo has not been overly polished for tourism. People live their everyday lives among mosques, churches, Austro-Hungarian buildings, socialist-era blocks, and modern developments. The city is very walkable, reasonably priced, and the local people were friendly and welcoming. Bosnian food was excellent, especially traditional grilled meat dishes and local cafés. On the other hand, Sarajevo is not a city filled with world-famous attractions. Visitors looking only for major landmarks may run out of “must-see” sites after a day or two. The city rewards slow exploration rather than checklist tourism. Overall, Sarajevo is a destination for travelers who enjoy atmosphere, history, photography, and observing everyday life. It is not the most beautiful city in Europe, but it may be one of the most interesting.

The hotel has a very peaceful atmosphere. From the moment you enter, you feel at home. Its central location is also a significant advantage. The rooms are quite large. You can feel the classic Bosnian culture in the hotel and rooms. The staff are very kind and helpful. I would like to thank Nermina, Yusuf, Zehra, and Adian (apologies if I misspelled the names) for their kindness. I stayed here twice in one week. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Bosnia. May peace always be with you and the people of Bosnia.

Mirsad is an exceptional host who provided a wealth of tips for exploring Sarajevo, along with fascinating historical insights about this iconic city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the apartment, especially the stunning view of the city it offers. The bed was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, which made my experience even more enjoyable. In fact, I was so impressed that I immediately rebooked for my last day in Bosnia after my first night there. Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and families.
