United KingdomI loved my room and the location of the hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly and extremely helpful. Housekeeping was exceptional and the bar staff always very pleasant. James is a good chef. The pool was great to swim in but I think some of the sun loungers needs replacing. I felt very safe with security staff always being visible.

GuyanaEverything was on point. Breakfast, staff courtesy, room service as like flash and salt bae. Fast and tasty. Even the taxi service requested was fast and reliable. Let’s not get me started on the bed, linen and pillows. I was totally at peace. 100/10

Not great shops in bridgetown unless you want souvenir's, Holetown place to go but more expensive. A very expensive island with often unfriendly service in the hotels and restaurants. Be aware that the east coast seas can be very rough with dangerous currents. Bridgetown is an interesting town with some history.
Bridgetown is an interesting town with some history. Rhianna Drive is worth a visit and there is a nice little bar right opposite the house she was brought up in. My son and I completed a 'walking tour' of Bridgetown on day one and it was both interesting and helpful in becoming orientated. My studio apartment/hotel was in Hastings, a suburb about 3 miles south of Bridgetown. EXCELLENT location, across the street ("Hwy." 7) from a bus stop and beaches with 1.2 km. long boardwalk. Apartment very clean, adequate furnishings. Minuses: 1) temperamental TV remotes (nice neighbor assisted) 2) Office not manned, at least on my weekend; perhaps because mostly long-term residents? Bridgetown is a lively and bustling city with plenty to see and do, but it’s important to be aware of the costs. Eating out can get expensive—expect to pay around $40 for a basic breakfast, while lunch can easily cost twice that. It’s definitely not the most budget-friendly destination. The city itself is always busy, with plenty of vendors and taxi drivers eager for your attention. While this can feel overwhelming at times, most people are friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt mostly safe, though occasional catcalling and stares were something to be mindful of. The real highlight? The stunning beaches surrounding Bridgetown. Crystal-clear waters, soft sands, and gorgeous views make them absolutely worth a visit. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend a catamaran snorkel tour which takes you to Carlisle Bay where you get to see different shipwrecks that are teeming with marine life. I got to see a green turtle, two Southern stingrays, and plenty of fish, both big and small. It’s a truly unique and mesmerizing experience!Guest review by1Lucie23Czech Republic

Apartment has everything that someone could need and restaurant with breakfast and lunch possibility was a cherry on top. They cook very good and cocktails are amazing. You even get your beach chair and fresh water automatically for free. It is 15-20minutes by walk on the beach to Bridgetown city. And in surroundings are at 5 good places to eat. It was a short bus ride to Oistins for food and indeed there is an AMAZING food court behind the Esso station. The supermarket was fascinating. It was an equally short bus trip to Bridgetown and its on the bus route too and from the Airport.
