Brand new hotel that was really clean. We got the room at the end of the corridor so it was slightly bigger than the other standard rooms. Rooms facing the road may experience a little bit of noise especially since it is facing a busy junction. A bit disappointed that the room did not come with a fridge or kettle. They instead have a complimentary coffee and tea station in the lobby. Parking in Antwerp is difficult, but we managed to find a parking lot (Parking Rijnkaai Scheldekaaien) about a 10 mins walk away that charges EUR6 for 24hrs of parking. Overall had a good sleep and comfortable stay.

The hotel is very clean and fresh. Lovely attention to details like fresh flowers and chocolate and cava welcome gifts. The owners are also very nice, friendly, and helpful. Location is directly in the center but on a quieter side street.

The interior design of this hotel was unbelievable - very whimsical and the bathroom made me smile every single time I walked in there ::) The hotel staff were amazing - family run. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious and I dined at the intimate Resturant which was some of the best food I've ever tasted. Great location and could not recommend more. I will definitely stay again!

A Gem of Fashion

As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.

Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.

A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.

In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

Absolutley incredible city and the people are just brilliant. Loved our stay and I wish I had made the stop a few more days. I would 100% tell any one to try the Belgium Beef stew its very very nice along with a good beer of course.

Antwerp is a wonderful, bustling little city.

Antwerp is a wonderful, bustling little city. It's a must see of Belgium. From the famous Brabo fountain and the beautiful square it's in. There are tons of beautiful, quaint restaurants of any kinds of food. The city's Archetectire is magnificent. There are all kinds of neat shops as well. Not to mention this port city is the diamond Capitol of the world. Enough said.

Antwerp Zoo was fantastic, but the city itself was downright...

Antwerp Zoo was fantastic, but the city itself was downright dangerous for pedestrians with cyclists zooming around everywhere, and not sticking to cycle lanes or observing traffic lights. I thought London was bad with 'Lime' rental bike cyclists, but Antwerp is far worse.

Beautiful city with a lot of restaurants, bars and cafes. The beer is excellent and there are a number of craft beers to try. Apparently, the bars in the city do not focus on the Abby Beers because it they are from a different region of the country. Regardless, there were plenty to choose from. We were a bit taken aback by the prices at the eateries/bars...and we were coming from the Netherlands. The city itself is a beautiful mix of medieval and modern architecture. During our short stay, there was an event in the central square with music, dancing and feed and beverages. It seems like these events are regular.

Antwerp feels less like a historic destination and more like...

Antwerp feels less like a historic destination and more like an extortion racket designed to fleece visiting drivers. The entire city is engineered as a predatory money trap: confusing resident-only zones, aggressive parking enforcement, and towing services operating in seamless coordination to extract exorbitant fines the moment you step out of your car. What makes it even more infuriating is that virtually every street is lined with empty private garages and an endless surplus of vacant disabled bays—leaving you wondering how anyone visiting is actually expected to park legally without being fined. Hostile, extortionate, and deeply unwelcoming—avoid driving here at all costs. Never again !

Used to live in Antwerp for many years, so very familiar with the city and always nice to be back. Overall a highly recommendable city to visit. Large offer of historical sights and sounds. Huge selection of restaurants and bars with outdoor terraces/seating. Good shopping alternatives available. Easy to get around by foot in the city and its historical areas. For a beer-lover this is the place to be. Try out the traditional Antwerp brown pubs. Such an experience where the time stands still. An absolute favourite is Oud Arsenaal on Theaterplein, used this fantastic pub for years, try it out, enjoy the atmosphere, large selection of beers and amazing staff and many regular clients. You'll love it!

really nice hotel, only minutes away from the Berchem station (bus, tram and train). alright neighbourhood, with some weird types here and there but perfect if you're travelling just to see the centre of Antwerp. i recommend checking out the streets north of the hotel (towards draakplaats) for some beautiful art nouveau architecture!

The location is ideal, across the Antwerp Central Station and directly at the start of the biggest shopping area. Very friendly staff, clean, large standard room, great bed and lovely pillows! Unfortunately I didn't have time to explore the fitness and spa. Next time for sure! Also ideal: the parking under the hotel.

A great property in a great location. I was visiting Antwerp to attend Sportpaleis, and it was perfect for that, as it wasn't too close but not too far either. The hotel had excellent facilities, and I appreciated its convenient location right next to the train station.
