The room was so lovely, homey, cozy, and beautiful, with plants and a comfortable bed and lovely view. The owners are kind and super responsive! I was also able to check myself in, which was really helpful as I came late on a Sunday. The area is amazing--walking distance to so many things, and the 4 tram that takes you into the heart of the city in a couple minutes. I was in the room on the fourth floor. I'd absolutely stay here again.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly. This is our second stay here. We are very satisfied. The location is a bit far from the city center, but I don't think you can find this quality and comfort anywhere else.

A Gem of Fashion

As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.

Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.

A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.

In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

Anterpen itself is beautiful, with plenty of places to stroll, enjoy delicious food, and, of course, drink Belgian beer. It's a convenient base for train trips to other beautiful Belgian cities—Bruges, Ghent, and Brussels.

This was a return trip to Antwerp as we visited for four days last year and it wasn't long enough. Another three days was great. So much to see and do, interesting musems (particularly the Plantin-Moretus), fine arts museums, walking tour from the centre, sewer tour, just walking around and under the river (back by boat). Good food and nice bars to sit in and watch people go by.

Easy to walk from the train to the historic centre (though we did get lost and were able to see more of the city than planned) The food options were fantastic, the train station is magnificent, and compared to all the other locations we stayed when visiting Belgium and Netherlands this was the most affordable

There is so much to see that an extended weekend or a five-day stay would be ideal. It was my first visit, and it is one of the cities I wanted to return to. The city is well connected by rail to other cities, so you can go on a day trip to Bruges, Ghent or whatever your heart desires. It's a charming city and three days was enough to see most of what we wanted and to wander through streets that were busy and cheerful. The Plantin-Moretus Museum and the Cathedral were highlights, as was the modern building which houses the museum aan de stroom. Unfortunately the Ruben House was closed when we were there. There are some good restaurants and lots of very ordinary ones, all quite expensive. It was pleasant to be somewhere which is off the normal tourist trail and full of Belgians enjoying themselves.

I absolutely love Antwerp and visit it regularly.

I absolutely love Antwerp and visit it regularly. I cannot recommend it enough - there is something in the city for everyone! And most of the city centre landmarks and sights are accessible and in easy walking distance. The people are incredibly friendly and nearly everyone speaks English which makes life a lot easier for lazy people like me! And of course, the chocolate is out of this world.

The Reception staff were great. The king-size bed was perfect. The location was superb, in the centre of town yet very quiet, upmarket residential. Very much in the Jewish part of Antwerp so anybody looking for kosher restaurants, shops etc will find nothing like it anywhere else in continental Europe. The streets perfectly safe to walk day and night. Everybody very helpful and polite and all speak amazing English. Trams very near the hotel and the truly amazing 'Centraal' Station just 10 minutes' walk.

The best things about this well-run hotel are its location and the inclusions (value for money). You can walk from the train station, it is right in the old town and you can walk everywhere of interest. The room is very large and spacious, one of the few rooms we have stayed in similar hotels which actually has two comfortable chairs and a desk in addition to a place to put your suitcase, beverage facilities, large and spotless bathroom. Many thanks Hilton Antwerp, I will use Hilton hotels again.

A great property in a great location. I was visiting Antwerp to attend Sportpaleis, and it was perfect for that, as it wasn't too close but not too far either. The hotel had excellent facilities, and I appreciated its convenient location right next to the train station.
