Brugge is a very beautiful and romantic city, with it's pitoresque historical city centre. One thing though, stay away from the Grote Markt if you want to have a nice dinner, to have just a drink there is alright .

Bruges is absolutely stunning!
Bruges is absolutely stunning! The historic buildings and architecture left me speechless. Bruges is a very walkable city and perfect for a solo traveler or couples weekend getaway. There are many restaurants to eat from Michelin star to traditional food to asian food, ethnic food, fast food and more. My favorite were the waffles and the cozy tea houses, especially Carpe Diem and Noah's for breakfast.
Chocolate and Happiness had really delicious chocolate also.
I highly recommend the horse drawn carriage tour and it is worth the cost.
We stayed just outside the centrum but next time we will stay closer and directly in the centrum.

Bruges is a beautiful, historic city with amazing views, charming canals, delicious food, and is perfectly walkable. We highly recommend Lizzie's waffles, the boat/canal tour, climbing the Belfry, and Otto's Waffles. Oyya's waffles are very good too!

Very fascinating city with plenty to see and do even if the weather is a bit wet.
There is a wide choice of eating and drinking establishments to choose from, however it is quite an expensive city with prices on par with London or a bit higher.
For somewhere a little bit special to eat I would recommend Tom's Diner, don't be fooled by the name because this is far from a diner.

Bruges is great to wander round with historic buildings and lovely canals. The canal boat trip is a must and a visit to the Belfort tower if you don’t mind heights! Lots of museums and beautiful churches. Plenty of chocolate shops, waffles and beer and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Two and a half days was perfect for us, if you want to do all the museums and galleries, you may need longer.

Bruges has the typical old-town charm along with good urban areas as well. The history linked to the old town is quite interesting and so are the architectural nuances. The canal passing through the town gives a lot of scenic advantages.
The room was a good size and well furnished. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful giving us excellent advice on what to do in Bruges. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is very easy to walk to all attractions. Although there is no where to park a car at the hotel, we were directed by the receptionist to the parking lot at the station which was secure, under cover, only a ten minute walk to the hotel and - best of all - extraordinarily cheap for the three days the car was parked there.
We had a wonderful stay in Bruges, Belgium! The host was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay! Tourist attractions, shops and restaurants are in walking distance from the apartment. The nearest supermarket is like a 10 minutes walk (or less) which is convenient. The room was nice and the WiFi was good. Everything looks just like the photos posted here on Booking. Parking on site is convenient, just have to pay extra which is fine. Definitely recommend, thank you!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, spotless and in a fantastic location. Our host Veronique was charming and so helpful and knowledgeable about the best places to visit including local restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious with plenty of choice and fresh orange juice brought to our table. We found the hotel online by chance but it is certainly a hidden gem and we will recommend to anyone visiting Bruges. Veronique made our stay one we will never forget.
Our stay at B&B Barabas was by itself one of the highlight of our trip. The owner, Bert, ensures you have the absolute best stay possible. The breakfast is truly amazing. The location is extremely close to the Grote Market, which is the tourist center of the city. There is public parking near by, and all of the tourist sites are a short walk away. Barabas B&B is the best place to stay when in Bruges. I will not stay anywhere else. Highly recommend.
It is a very cozy hotel in a walking distance from the center of Bruges. The room was exceptionally clean and bigger than we expected, the bathroom had no flaws either. The beds were comfortable - maybe the best ones we experienced so far. The owner/manager of the property was very entertaining to chat with. And yes, she spoke perfect English. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Bruges.
The design of the hotel is very beautiful and authentic. Located in the city centre of Bruges. Staff were nice and efficient and the room was very clean and spacious with a nice coffee station and a modern flat TV. Also the bathroom was very big with both shower and bath tub.
Breakfast buffet had a nice wide selection.
Beautiful building with a lovely garden. The breakfast was good as well. Compared to the prices in Brugge city centre the price value ratio was good. it is about a 15 minute car ride from Bruges. If you don’t have a car or bikes this may not be your best option if the reason of your stay is to visit Bruges.
Lovely hotel. Great charm inside and outside. Right on the canal, a short walk to all the sights in the city centre. We loved the courtyard, our view over the canals and the general relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Reception staff was very friendly and our room was very, very clean. We had an amazing time!
loved the location in the old town right next to the historic canals. in fact our room was on the canal with water just below our window. 3 min walk to the center of town. excellent breakfast room. very helpful staff although this is mostly a self service hotel. at least in the winter
The best aspect of this hotel was the breakfast. It was very good. The location was about ten minutes walk from the centre square of Bruges so not too bad but we would have preferred something closer. The ground floor reception, bar and breakfast area were nicely appointed.
We enjoyed the hospitality of Sofie and Laurent. They were happy to meet our every need. Sofie went above and beyond for the Belgium style breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed an afternoon coffee on the patio. We loved staying in a local home instead of a hotel.
This city centre hotel was ideal for our overnight stay in Bruges. We were provided with secure garage parking for our bikes a few minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed a good breakfast before continuing our cycling tour
Room very comfortable, bathroom/shower was excellent. Breakfast was continental style, but plenty of choice and coffee, in pleasant dining-room. Best feature with this Hotel, is the location. Only a 5 minute walk into the City Centre.
When i arrived i wanted to rate 5 stars to the hotel. The réceptionist that welcomed us was very professional and gental even she let us check in at 10 Am. for a 1 star hotel the room is verry organized and looks like new
The location of the hotel was close to the city centre.
The person at the reception was decent and managed to give us a water bottle after our long travel. He also let us keep our luggage in the lobby after checkout.
Wonderful hotel near city centre of Bruges; rooms comfortable and spacious; very clean and modern bath room; excellent breakfast with a lot of varieties; gated parking space directly at the hotel building
Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms. Convenient to reach by car and perfect location for exploring the center of Bruges. Hotel staff were very friendly and happy to welcome our little dog.
Excellent rooms, spacious, very good parking space, huge beautiful garden behind, nice breakfast, helpful staff, beautiful location and near to city centre. Overall hotel is excellent.
Hotel is located on a quiet street in the old city, just a short stroll away from Bruges city centre. The receptionist was kind and the breakfast decent.
