Bruges is full of stunning architecture and history.
Bruges is full of stunning architecture and history. It feels warm and friendly and is small enough to easily explore by foot. In mid to late October the city was not overwhelmed with tourists so it felt relaxed and no where was too busy. The city is extremely clean and there were no pigeons!

Very picturesque place to visit.
Very picturesque place to visit. We enjoyed the canal boat trips and the market in the main square. The Groningen museum is interesting with paintings from all eras. The Half Moon Brewery tour is good if you don't mind climbing steep stairs.

Bruges is beautiful, around every corner is another stunning street with charm. Unfortunately, lots of others came for the same reason and you will be sharing your experience with hundreds of other tourists. We were in Bruges in early October and it was crowded, I can't imagine what the busy months must be like!
A canal trip was a fun way to start our day. Walking around is enjoyable and easy to navigate. Do not go to the chocolate museum, it is a waste of money. It was very crowded and boring.

A beautiful old town with picturesque buildings, canals and fabulous museums. The 72 hour Musea Brugge card was well worth the money. It is easy to escape on foot from the crowds and chocolate shops to explore the quiet quarter. The boat trip on the canal was well worth doing.

We spent three nights in Bruges, arriving and leaving by train. The two full days were perfect to explore the central area of Bruges, which has many late-medieval era buildings and lots of historical significance. The shopping oppportunities were quite extensive: tons of chocolate shops, art and jewelry shops, bars and restaurants, souvenir shops, and clothing stores. The canal boat tour and the free walking guided tour were both very good. Bruges is charming, relaxing, and very photogenic. We'll be back!

One of the better hotels I have stayed in for a while. The staff were very friendly, helpful and provided excellent tips and suggestions on what to see and do, along with some brilliant restaurant recommendations. The hotel was very clean and located a 10 minute or so walk from the center. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be staying here if I find myself back in Bruges.

One of the most beautiful spots in Bruges. A unique boutique hotel situated on a gorgeous canal with beautiful rooms and interior spaces. Above all, the hotel is run by Sophie who is by far the best person we met in this charming city. An amazing and generous host that will make your stay memorable.
The room was very cozy and the window looked out on the canal, which was lovely. The hotel itself feels like you are living in a part of history. A must stay hotel if you are in Bruges.
Hotel is brilliantly situated in historic centre of Bruges. Breakfast well organised and we had a great view of the Burg Square. Room was a good size and quiet.
